They may be informative, but I've never heard them called fun before...

Are you looking to buy a new graphics card or something?

i like nvidia, cause their drvers never let you down, regardless of the game. ATi has some issues if you realy want to play a lot of diffrent games, because sometimes their drivers aren't compatable, of cause wieard things (such as every third frame in Doom3 was compleatly white; far cry had some funny lines going through it once, ect. but don't get me wrong: ATi makes great cards.

Heyyo,

I vote ATI, cause Nvidia screwed me over twice with the GF4 MX440, and the FX5600. Both weren't worth the cash I paied for them.

Nvidia's driver support sucks for HaloPC dude, look through these forums and note how many people can't see proper effects using their nvidia cards with the latest drivers. I just tried the new ATI Catalyst v5.1 drivers, and WOW! EVERYONE UPGRADE TO THEM! I ran the timedemo, before PixelShader v1.4 was faster than ps v2.0 at 39.17F/S, and with the new drivers on PixelShader v2.0 I scored 41.53F/S! improvement indeed! gj ATI :)

Nvidia's got better linux driver support than ATI, but for windows? ATI seems to be doing a better job.

yeah, the only nvidia card that seems to be worth the cash is the 6600GT, other than that? I wouldn't bother looking at nvidia cause most of their cards are highly priced.

I got 5.1 aswell. It's like I overclocked or something, I never seen such a noticable performance change, outstanding. HL2 runs Perfectly, I can't make it stutter no matter what I do!

that is what i have in my other computer and although it will run high frame rates the preformance is drasticly affected so i keep it at 800x600 or just the next level up
