Mine was a normal day of pure excitement at school. The whole male population of the 8th grade class was split: GTA SA and Halo 2 fanboys. Rumor and speculation went on throughout the day, along with some heated debates. Last period was hell, knowing i was 30 minutes away from the greatest game ever. When the last bell rang i mowed dowbn at least 1 janitor and 24 students. That was fun. I ran home with a friend who was getting it later that day. I nearly hyperventalate unlocking the door and when i walk in, there it was. Halo 2, in all its shiny, metal, silver, shrinkwrapped goodness. I dropped everything and just held it for a while, in awe. Finally after about one minute of swearing in disbelief that it was finally time for me to play Halo 2, i inserted the disc in to the XBOX and watched Microsoft Game Studios and Bunige logos pop up. Bliss. Then i thought "Gee, you've got homework". -blam!- HOMEWORK! I played on heroic till 10 at night, finally pressing Save and Quit at 11:30 PM CDT. The morning was the time I finished it at swore at the fact that Halo 3 would be a while. Speculations ran through my head. After 343 said Why the Ark of course. And where Oracle is that? I just said earth. (face it, its true)

PS: Was I the only one who thought that everyone was dead when Delta Halo sent that beacon. I thought it had fired! I'm just like HOLY -blam!- -blam!-!

Hmm...more like I waited till 3 AM in the freezing cold to see it. I had just seen Ray and hated it (Jamie Foxx was pretty good btw) so I needed some Halo'y goodness to make me forget it. Anyways, I was only expecting the normal edition but since they had lost my reservation for Halo 2 earlier I got myself a brand new Limited Edition. I just kinda stared at it for a few seconds just in complete awe. When I got home I popped it in and was in even more awe with the opening cutscene, I played all night and all day the next day then cried when it ended :(

I ate at Outback Steak House around 10ish, then headed over to the mall, waited in line for about 3 hours, got home at 3:30 a.m., and played til I nearly collapsed from exhaustion (somewhere in Oracle). I took a quick 3 hour nap, and resumed play. I beat it, then one of my friends came over, and I played co-op several more hours. Twas a good day.
