Ok I need some help.
When I'm playing, my wireless connection is strong, I'm looking at the connection, it's excellent so I'm thinking cool no lag, but every game for the past 2 days is just total lag out = bad games= losses and 8/10 times I'm the one causing it. So could someone help me why my connection is strong and normally doesn't act up but in the past 2 days, just major lag. Is it just XBL acting up or what is the problem?

USAF Air Traffic Controller.

I understand that you bought the wireless adapter because it is more convenient but it is always better to be hooked via ethernet (unless you have a signal booster or awesome wireless router)
I reccomend that if you have the opportunity to hook up via ethernet then you take that opportunity.
I have the wireless adapter and have discontinued use because of the strange drop outs.

I need some other advice. I have a wireless router downstairs connected to my dad's cable connection. I'm using a wireless card to pick up that connection but my connection still shows strong and my internet works great but why is XBL so laggy, it never lags, last 2 days thought, just absolute -blam!-,.

Over at HFCS we're constantly hard...

Wait...
What?

Let's trouble shoot this. First thing to start with is to go to dslreportscom and run a bandwidth test. Tell us what you get.
