The bungie.net community is the halo PC community that is renowned for being unbelieveably sucky.

Which shots would you ban, other than the completely obvious one.
Wow, that looks really useful.
Sarcasm aside, anyone with half decent hand/eye coordination could defeat a bot. So I don't know why people waste their time complaining about it. Nearly every kill that video shows also show the player taking for, five, six, or even seven shots before he kills the target with the pistol. I eat botters for breakfast, then poop on their lawns.
In the situation in the video, there is no way you are going to beat a good player aimbotting over time. The ability to know exactly where people are is a tremendous advantage, let alone perfect aim. Mr. Clickbot in the video is rapid fire, so he's missing some. Most people shoot like that, including aimbotters.
I believe that the best aimbotters also understand Halo pc pretty well, and how to get hits 99% of the time. Think of it this way, if a veteran can get mostly 5,4,3 shot/kills with the pistol, imagine that guy with an aimbot. They're definitely out there...the game is sooo old that people have pretty much mastered it without a bot, lol.
Back to the posted video... I don't think that a lot of people would be able to spot the cheating if you took out that one place almost exactly in the middle of the clip, where Clickbot tries to get a kill magically through the wall from across the map. At that point it's pretty obvious that he is botting, but even so some will miss it. Without the green arrows, it's tough to see people click onto others through walls, even though Clickbot is doing it the whole time! And I'm not even talking about when enemies are visible... sigh.
So, how to really spot is tough business, but I've learned one thing that remains true with bots and Halo pc across the board: Nobody, and I mean nobody has THAT steady of a hand when "clicked on" to another player. I'm talking about vertical sway up and down, or diagonal for that matter. Clicked on, amazing steady hand....other times, sloppy aim all over the place...does. not. compute. An easy way to notice this is if of course by watching where 100% of the shots go, to the head. :)
