For those of you who don't remember, in the Halo 2 single-player demo from E3 2003, there was a billboard visible in New Mombasa for about a second that depicted a bright yellow Warthog, with the word "Hog" next to it. Looked to me like a civilian Warthog.

Now, I'm sure that's been reported already, but I don't think this has. I was just checking out Joyride Studios' new Halo 2 section (right here), and I noticed that they are planning on making both a Warthog and a "Hog", though you can't click on either.

EDIT: Just checked out the press release, and that confirms it. Sorry if this is old news. Check the PDF release here.

well there will be civilian vehicles I doubt you can drive them. The hog you see in it is probally what they call the civilian form of it I mean the word Jeep was a milatary term it didn't take long for it to make the jump to the public. The word hog has probally made the jump.

I think it'll be driveable because Joyride makes the vehicles so that action figures can drive them, i'm sure. I don't think they'd make a model vehicle that your characters can't ride in. However, it doesn't say anything about minifigures when the press release mentions the Hog. Hopefully we can drive it though.

P.S. According the the press release, the civilian Hog comes complete with "cool street rims" and "tinted windows." Tight!
