My joysticks have been wearing down on my older (large) xbox controllers. Has this happened to anyone else and do you know if there is a way to fix it?

I'm not quite sure what you mean by 'wearing down' but my fat controlers joysticks get a bit stuck sometimes. And the wire connecting the controler to the xbox is now attached with sticky tape. So maybe its just the big ones weren't made very good.

My old xbox is fine with the new controllers. I just cant use them. Too small for my hands to be comfy with it.

what i mean is that if i press straight up on my joystick, i walk slower...a little slower than crouch walking...than i should. also, when they are in the center, they are a little loose (no force required to move them a little bit). this is especially frustrating when trying to jump the hog in headlong. i'm gonna try to open up one of em and switch sticks with a small controller (or see if that's even possible). ill let you know if it works. i refuse to switch to small controllers (for the time being anyway).
