I was playing T & R yesterday and had managed to keep many marines alive longer than normal when two of them had this exchange after we had just pounded a bunch of covies coming off of the grav lift:

marine 1-see, these things aren't that tough!

marine 2-tell me about it, that one was wearing a skirt! (the one with the aussie accent)

I darn near fell off my futon! When I play 2 I still occassionally hear things I have not ever heard before, but I thought I had heard everything in CE for the 5 years I have been playing it!

Everyone knows about the talking Grunt.

I haven't heard that second line before. Heard the first, but never the second that went with it!

I heard something else very amusing last night. I was playing the level Halo and had finished off most of the covies afters setting up the Rockslide Megabattle (see the website Mad Cyborg if you have never been there, IT IS UNBELIEVABLELY FANTASTIC!) and I had 2 elites left wandering around at the downed lifeboat. I was down to 3 pistol rounds and 1 sniper round so I snuck my way to the lifeboat and hid inside to see if I could paste them with the 2 remaining plasmas I had while they strolled leisurely about their way. As I was hiding the elites were making the wierdest noises! Something between a cough and a grunt and a gurgle. It kinda freaked me out while I was stowed away in that boat, I let them patrol for almost 5 minutes and they did it everytime they stopped and turned, it was a riot! Oh yeah, then I killed them!

I'm sorry, but I have the irrestible urge to state "no u".

As for the flying away part, that is known as a Hornet. Hence the eleongated front, shiled-shaped turbines.
