A few months ago I had the Halo Trial on my computer and deleted because I got the full version. Now my friend has the Halo Trial and I want to play it with him. Everytime I try to download it (it doesn't matter what site, even the official one) I get this error:

I followed the path but it is not there. What should I do?

Yes, I am a hypocrite, and I'm sorry. I really do mean well, but I'm not running on all cylinders.

Everytime someone buys a copy of Halo 2 Vista, a puppy dies.

Try downloading to disk instead of running from the site. Possibly use a different browser like Mozilla Firefox.

Download to an actual location, not a temp folder.

Some games won't work if you have a demo version installed, or vice versa. I had the Flatout demo and bought the retail version (game's crap JSUK) and it wouldn't work until I uninstalled the demo. I also downloaded the demo for Empire at War and when I tried to run it while I had the full version installed (Was having problems with the copy-protection program) the demo wouldn't run until I uninstalled the full version.

I would expect most people would be able to run both programs with no problems, but every computer is different and what might work for someone else might not work for you. So just try deleting the full version of Halo and trying the demo, or tell your friend to go buy the full game.

When you download to my documents the error message still points to the temp folder?

Sounds like a virus to me.

Now, in the quantum moment before the closure, when all become one. One moment left. One point of space and time. I know who you are. You are destiny.

No, it's what Obi Wan says.

I believe this is the best way to explain such phenomenom. However, this does not happen to me for some reason...

No you can run trial and halo PC at the same time, they install to different folders. We need more information to find a solution.
