Please provide the players the facility to disable or enable vehicle damage. Otherwise, a destructable vehicle would simply be a death trap against experienced players, and eventually become useless and unused all together.

i some what agree but an experianced gamer will addapt to this game style and learn to only use vehicals when needed and will learn how to oppose this "death trap" from snapping on them

Yea, it would be nice if you could pick the level of destructabillity. Weak (for those suicide games), normal, Double Armour, and virtually indestructable.

I am pretty sure that there is an option in multiplayer. I read somewhere about an alpha tester getting in games and having the vehicles be indestructable, but than switched to a game with destructible vehicles.

well in the multiplayer demonstration, he shot it like 3 times with a rocket launcher till it blew up so it can take a lot of damage so it's not really destructible, everyone thinks it will deteriorate(or however yo spell it) as soon as it is shot, plus they have to hit it, it's gonna be hard to shoot something maving so fast while fighting someone else unless you are going straight at them but if you are you would just run them over or get boarded if not going fast enough, but later it will finally blow up then it will respawn(i hope).

Why must everyone WHINE SO FRIGGIN MUCH!? You haven't even played the game, but still people must say, "Please do this, please don't do this." Sit down, shut up, and stop whining about something you know nothing about.

*That is all I have to say*

I agree. Although the ghost seemed kinda weak in the E32004 demonstration. A clip of BR ammo put it totally out of commission.

Putting that option in could also ruin balancement... I'm pretty sure they won't explod as fast as they did in the E3 Demonstraition... Just be patient...

Deathtrap? I ask you, how many times have you survived a rocket to your warthog in Halo1?

Seriously, think about it. You don't want indestructible vehicles because when you had an indestructible vehicle in Halo1 they balanced it out by making the driver and passengers would take the damage instead of the vehicle. You'll live much longer in the new vehicles. We've seen it.

Currently in Halo1 I haven't used the Warthog in almost a year. You can't get into a warthog without three pistols barking at you from across the map and killing you the moment you get into the thing.

Add in a little vehicle respawning and who cares about whether or not vehicles will be fine.
