My monitors aren't the problem. I'm 100% sure of that.

Are you using an LCD? Many LCD's will have problems with displaying fonts. Windows uses "Clear Type" anti-aliasing to try to deal with that.
It's display-appearance-effects-2nd choice. If you have an LCD, turning it on and to "Clear Type" can help.
Using that option can sometimes help with LCDs, having it selected can also cause problems on some CRTs as well. In which case, try turning it off.
Just a thought though.
Already have Clear Type enabled. It actually looks like a skinner font to me. Like I said probably just my memory failing me.
