In Halo 2, the frag grenades now explode in 3 seconds ( i think). But now instead of the grenades exploding after they settle on the ground, they will explode regardless of in the air, or on the gournd. So now, they will explode right in someones face if you time it right. I'm pretty sure this isfo is correct. But dont flame me if im wrong, thanks.

Maybe, maybe not, that was the e3 2003 demonstration you got that idea from correct?

That was a year ago so they might have changed things a bit.

Yup, Bungie can change anything though, i just hope they do keep it that way, as well as possibly being able to shoot grendaes while they are on teh ground to blow them up. Is that a good idea?

I don't think being able to blow them up would be good... but maybe being able to knock them around with certain or all guns would be sweet.
It would definitely add more strategical elements to the game.
But as for realistic-ness... or even thinking about how to implement such a thing in a game... it's not likely... And would it really even be that great anyway?

speaking of grenades,i thought of a weapon that would be cool to have in Halo 2

M205 Grenade Launcher

Fires small,HE, impact detonation rounds. Drum fed, with 6 rounds to a drum. can fire HE or napalm grenades or can fire Covenant plasma grenades for increased range.

good or bad?? im open to suggestions and/or criticism

i have a LOT more weapons that i would like to see in Halo 2.PM me if you want details

Proximity mines are the worst, it would make parts of the game too easy and feel like Perfect Dark, Perfect Dark Halo is not. If you want mines, then maybe remote control, I could see that, still have to have some skill or timing and what not, not laying a mine and leaving it for them.

i am pretty sure they talked about and confirmed the inclusion of glow grenades. a fearsome new weapon with devastating consequences. upon throwing the grenade is cracks like a glow stick and lets off a fearsome glow. this glow is stoopid hot and dangerous packin enough glow to glow out some covie.

Wow, if they make that like a flashbang and put it in multiplayer I will seriously be cancelling my Xbox Live account.

I hope they dont detonate on impact, or it will end up being like wolfenstein, everyone hides behind debree waiting for someone to come around then follow them for a sec and throw, i find that pointless and agrivating. I think the way everything worked in halo 1 was perfect, as far as grenades go, i hope they stay the same.

Oh I don´t think that they detonate on impact! If you want a grenade like that, you just have to look on halo 1. The Covie-Grenade is such a weapon; with inbuild Timeshift-Function!!

I think having a three second timer is better because it's more realistic, like pulling the pin on a real grenade, also the grendaes in Halo: CE were too fickle. By that I mean sometimes they would detonate too early, other times you would throw one and have to wait an eternity for it to blow up. having a timer keeps grenades more predictable, which i find preferable. However that is simply my opinion. Also, I agree that the idea about flash grenades is retarted. RETARTED!

I like how the HK grenade is currently, but it feels too bouncy. Like I'm throwing it at a grassy hill and expect it to be held by the grass, but instead it bounces back at me and blows me up. What's up with that?
