Halo The Fall of Reach
Chapter 25, page 236.
Cortana framed her fingers around the man's face. "He's so serious," she murmmured. "Thoughtful eyes though. Attractive in a primative animal sort of way, don't you think Doctor?
Dr. Hasley blushed. Apparently she did think so.Cortana's thoughts mirrored her own, only unchecked by normal military and social protocol.

heheh. Now we kinda know what Master Chief looks like from a female perspective. And we also know how Dr. Hasley sort of feels about him. In the beginning of the book it said how Dr. Hasley wanted to treat John more of a "experiment" then a normal person. John has now grown up and proved himself a true asset to humanity's fight againest the Covenant. I may get flamed for this, and also keep in mind, I'm almost finished with The Fall of Reach and haven't yet read the others. I just think wouldn't it be nice if there was sort of a love story between John and Doctor Hasley?

Chapter 25, page 237
Dr. Hasley walked over to the picture. "He was awarded this Legion of Honor medallion because he dove into a bunker of Covanent soldiers. He took out twenty by himself and saved a platoon of Marines who were pinned down by a stationary energy emplacement. I've read the report, but I'm still not sure how he managed to do it."
She turned to Cortana and stared into her old translucent eyes. "You've read his CSV?"
"I'm reading it again right now."
"Then you know he is neither the smartest nor the fastest nor the strongest of the Spartans. But he is the bravest.... and quite possibly the luckiest. And in my opinion, he is the best."

Now we all know how Master Chief measures up to the other Spartans. I also would like to add he is a good leader too.

You realize that Hasley is like 20 years older than him, right?

Gosh dangit duke (now you made me say some bad words...) stop posting these theories or whatever in the flood! I am sure it is a fine theory that everyone would love...in New Mombasa.
