I think it would be a good idea (looking at if from both personal greed and a for bungies sales) if they do it. But I think it is pointless for people to tell us that it will never happen. Who cares what they say. Does it hurt anyone to try or to even talk about it. NO! So why tell us over and over what they said. So if you dont think there should be a demo why even say anything at all. Why not just support us in our never ending endevor to get a demo or to just dream about it.

i think they should make a custom level that isnt in the final version of H2. Not XBL though for a demo thats stupid. I also think that the demo somehow has a timelimit of use like you cant play it when the real game comes out.

Once nov. 9 is here nobody will care about the demo anyway, eventually every will own the game having played it at a friends house or read the reviews. All this waiting will be forgotten and nobody would even remember the demo if they had one. So demo or not I want nov. 9, 2004 to be here now. And I have have once said, I still think drug-induced comas should be alot cheaper, so I don't have to wait as long.

BlueReaper Signing Off

Before they anounced the 9th, there were plans to publish it in 2003, but it was pretty clear this wouldn't be reasonable with al the work planned, so now its nov. 9th 2004.

I think releasing a part of SPC would be pretty frustrating, cause you get to play only a small portion of the story, when really you cant wait for the whole game. I'm already aggitated every day that some people have played multiplayer and I wasn't one of them. There aren't any horsetranquilizers that can put me to sleep until 9th and playing MP won't give away any of the storyline that Bungie is working so hard for to keep from us. And Zanzibar is ready.

ZANZIBAR, ZANZIBAR, ZANZIBAR.

How do you wright -Horsetranquilizer- ?

Anyway the future is built on dreams, so why cant we dream of a Halo 2 demo?

I'm all for a demo...but....if putting out a demo somehow interupts Bungie working on other aspects of the game than I am totally against it, I wouldn't want something to not make it to the game just because you guys couldn't wait long enough.

C'mon, lets have some more thoughts on the matter.

And see my original post before submitting your arguement about why there should not be a demo.

You keep saying that, and I keep saying where and I keep getting no reply to "why isn't it in the FAQ?" if it's asked so often?

Post a link, or stop posting that until you have one.

I think they should just release the E3 2003 Demo since they showed practically the whole level played out, well, if that was the whole level, I doubt that... but at least be able to explore that part of the game since most everyone has already seen it, it wouldnt be nothing to special. But it would be a cool demo to mess around on, it would be telling the storyline, and it wouldnt have all the cool new things that is gonna suprise us on the release. AND if they did change the level, they could always just go back to the old one that was shown, Im sure they have that laying around somewhere on a disc...... BUT the multiplayer Demo would spoil alot of the fun if that was released...

I would compare this to se x. Se x is great whenever you have it. But if you can make it wait until you find the perfect someone and then wait until you are married to that perfect someone, it is the best it can be.

Halo2 is se x. A demo would be great, but if we can control ourselves and wait for nov. 9th, when we get married to Halo2, it will be the best it can be.

LOL

Just get over it; you're doing nothing more than wasting your breath – figuratively speaking.

Wait until November 9th like everyone else.

Furthermore, presenting an argument that has an overwhelming supply of biased opinions is an extremely effective means to creating an unsubstantiated, useless rationale. That is to say, your argument sucks.
