Subject: More than two granade types? Good or Bad?

When a cat is dropped, it always lands on its feet, and when toast is dropped, it always lands buttered side down. Therefore, if a slice of toast is strapped to a cat's back, buttered side up, and the animal is then dropped, the two opposing forces will cause it to hover, spinning inches above the ground. If enough toast-laden felines were used, they could form the basis of a high-speed monorail system.

No, that was a regular grenade, they now have a stun affect on people in the near vacinaty.

i chose No!
But i think it could work, providing you dont have to hit black to scroll to the right type of grenades two times in a row.
There has to be a better scrolling system, its hard enough in a fight to just switch it, let alone twice, to get the right one.

D-pad? Or you could press black, and then press a different direction on the d-pad to select.

Ur right. but who knows, maybe the explosion killed some, but there were so many that some outside the explosion radius got stunned?

Personally i think that you shouldnt be limited to 4 grenades of one type if you dont have any more. Like lets say you had no frag grenades, you should be able to pick up 8 plasma ones. Or if you had 5 frag you could have 3 plasma grenades. I dont know If this is relevant to the topic, but I had it on my mind and had to get it out.

It would make things a little too complicated. Its not like you have very much time to think. Like in Splinter Cell.

I think more grenade types would be excessive, its a grenade, all i need them to do is go boom when i throw them

I read at another forum that there is a new grenade type. It blows up with a combination the fuel rod cannon and needles from a needler. He even sent an e-mail to bungie to confirm it, and they did.

they wouldnt just confirm it unless they already said it somewhere (from there mouths) because we all know how secretive they are

a flash bang would be useless, you need to kill covies, not stun them.
A smoke grenade WOULD be handy, because it can create nice cover especially against snipers.

plus, if there are going to bve more type of grenades, you should only be able to cary two kind of grenades.

And hey, no we're busy anyway, what about dual wielding grenades? a plasma in your left and a frag in your right hand.

it would be a good idea BUT becasue you can only carry 2 weapons you should only be able to carry 2 grenades.

i think 4 frags and 4 plasma nades are enough. If ya complain about running out of nades in the game, get used to it, that's the trick, use them wisely, you could carry lots of nades like in other games "soldier of fortune" as an example, but it isnt fun, ya waste a lot of time chosing the right one, and as in halo is non-stop action, that would suck having to select between 4-6 types of nades while in combat, i mean in HALO 1, ya had 2 choices, to stick it or not to stick it, and if ya ask me that was the real fun of it.

Peace!.

I think they should make more grenade types but you will need to beat the game at least once to unlock them.

The new greanade type is the one with the fuel rod/needler one and it doesnt stick its the long ones that the brutes carry. and as well they are thinking of including a poison grenade thats more stealthy. thats the facts

I don't know about new grenades, but I think a cool one would be a poison gas grenade. You throw it, 3 seconds later it slowly releases a bright red cloud of gas that lasts for ~15 seconds, that when you walk into, it bypasses the shield and depletes the health. I think that would be cool.

First of all, the MasterChief has oxygen scrubbers, so that woudn't work. Second, the game is bad enough with noobs running around sticking everybody in site, and third, scrolling thru grenades while a brute tries to rip your head off would not work
