Hello! Star Wars FTW. Also, join the MAW group. Please?

You may have never heard this phrase so I will introduce it to you:
LONG LIVE THE MAW!

I think that's what the previous posters were trying to say anyway.

Cheers, enjoy your stay!

The bungie.net community is the halo PC community that is renowned for being unbelieveably sucky.

Welcome to Other Forums.

To clear that up further, this forum used to be called The Maw but a website update changed the names of the forums bastardizing all that was sacred.

I doubt the webmasters even knew what they were doing when they changed the name or the implications.

Slaying noobs since 2007.

Am I the only one who finds the topic title to be slightly offensive?

Hmmm, it does segregate the Mac users...

Should probably complain about that.

Long live the Last Refuge!

ZOMG three posts by the same mod in one week!

Anyway yeah it kind of excludes the Macs and that other thing Halo PC was released on.

Yeah. That's right. I don't have a 50 in H3. I never got Onyx in Reach. If a game sucks too much, I won't even bother trying for such trivial "accolades". Besides, I've done way more things that take far more skill and talent than anything that can be done in a video game.

Since nobody else felt like being helpful, I'll go ahead and link to the patch.

Download and run this patch, which will update the game to 1.07, the most recent (laughable, really) version of the game.

First time I ever played Halo was the Mac version. Nice sarcasm though. Yes, we complain a lot, not that it does anything. Maybe if Bungie had had control over their own IP, we wouldn't have gotten an excellent, yet seriously flawed port, and then one of the most embarrassing games ever made- Halo2 Vista. Not everyone wants to play Xbox with pre-teens who yell the N word and all that crap. Some of us are actually- wait for it- above the age of 25.

Also, if I remember correctly, this forum DID include a description of the Maw that included "mac" as well. Of course you guys dropped that. But who can tell who really calls the shots at Bungie anymore anyway. There is no accountability. *cough* Hired Bums *cough*.

So I guess we *could* stop complaining if you guys actually supported H2V more than 1 year and didn't disband the group that ported it and act like they don't exist anymore. The whole thing is hilariously sad.

Both Gearbox and MacSoft did a hell of a job with updates over a few years, especially MacSoft. They actually added features that the community needed- what a concept- support! Yeah, we've been on version 1.07 for quite awhile now, but the game is coming up on 5 years in September.

Not like it matters. Macs aren't exactly ultimate gaming machines.

Hello! Star Wars FTW. Also, join the MAW group. Please?

Lame generic name, off the front page, support discontinued for both games (the second being a piece of -blam!- anyhow), and no the denied existence of the team that made H2V, and the fact that it's been months since anything pertaining to PC/Mac bungie fans has been said in a weekly update.
We have been forgotten. The masses with the 360's are the ones with the money.

Ironic really seeing as how we all go to painstaking lengths to build computers that can run the top games of our time.
