I would hate it if there were mines. Mines don't take any skill, you just put one down and they die. I think they should just leave them out and people will have to live with the tracking SPNKr

Maybe you'll have to place one in singleplayer to destroy an incoming covie tank or something but most likely not.

In reply to " shortcut "

Yeah, I am sure it will. What was wrong with it? Have you tried using it in the Water Works stage yet? It is awsome there.

Vash is right, I remember reading about the barrels that were old fuel cells or something that will litter MP levels which can be used as weapons and traps for killing enemies

I read somewhere that that explosion is like an energy core that you can shoot and it will explode, so it is kinda like a bomb, not a mine.

what make halo halo is it's beautiful simplisity and reliance on your own skill it would totally cheapen the game if a vet kept getting killed by some newbie who did nothing but run around and set mines then hide in a corner

The "fusion cores" (I think that's the name for them) on Zanzibar are there so you can shoot them and they would blow up, or you can roll them off a high balcony onto attackers below. Not like proximity mines.
