gearbox did a pretty bad port job for halo pc and kids tell me it has really bad netcode. even with that the lag usually isnt that bad if you have a decent computer and broadband, so im not worried about halo 2 having any lag issues.

no, i have played halo for pc and it is major laggy. Every xbox live game i have never had issues with lag, sure it would lag for a split second here or there but thats about it. Im sure Bungie is working hard on not making it laggy

Dont worry bungie is going making a kickass HUB that will make online play as smooth as split screen MP so its gonna kickass. O yea and the reason why the one for computer had so much lag is because gearbox sucks.

Xbox Live suffers very little lag.

Besides all of that, the Bungie team has been working very closely with the XBL team. So, I'm sure any lag issues will be worked out. I'm not worried!

Bungie has been taking extensive measures to ensure as little lag as possible during Xbox Live play. Including the alpha test where one thousand full-time Microsoft employees were given early, basic copies to play over a hosted network. Employees throughout the country and world (if I'm not mistaken) played while Bungie took note of every miniscule reading.

Bungie immediately recognized and acknowledged the potentiality of lag, and have done more than any developr prior (to my knowledge) to ensure a lag-free environment.
