has anyone noticed the new Tom Clancy games have no blood? Splinter Cell: PT got rid of the blood that splats when you shoot someone, and GR2 has no blood whatsoever. what's happening?

They are supposed to be incredebly realistic so just a little blood would be a nice touch.

No! Real life is supposed to be like turok, ok?

Shoot someone, and they explode in a huge trail of blood and green insides all over the place.

what's so important about charictors in games having faces. it isn't like you have to know what the charictors look like to play the game.

it just adds to the experience that's all.

Everything will be gone long before me. When the first living thing was born, I was here, waiting. When the last living thing dies, my job is finished. I'll put the chairs on the tables, turn out the lights and lock the universe behind me when I leave.

Have any of you watched the Kill Bill movies. Quintin Tarentino(sp for both words) puts so much blood in there it's almost funny. Like a guy would chop another guys head of and the neck would be like a fountain. Even though they did it on purpose, it's too much blood.

That is so true.

well it is supposed to be really stylized and unrealistic in Kill Bill, and when you think about it it is less gory then if they made it realsitic. Cause with realistic it looks like something that could actually happen, but in Kill Bill. With that amount it doesn't hit you with that sickining realistic feel, more of a comedic feel.

in Splinter Cell, its so very satisfying to shoot someone in thye head and watch the blood drip. it's not the mosat realistic, but it helps identify if/where you hit someone.

In GR and GR: IT, the blood was at a realistic level. if you shoot someone, some blood comes out. In GR2, nothing happens. you dont even know if you hit them or not. in real life, if you shoot someone in the head with a sniper rife, there will be blood.

im just worried this may be thier new trend. i seriously hope Chaos Theory has blood, because knifing someone isnt cool without blood.

there is such a thing as real wars, you know. people have blood in them, and when a steaming hot piece of lead is projected into them, it pushes blood out.

Don't worry Splinter Cell CT will be rated M for blood (of course you'd have to be a complete idiot to put Knives in the game and have it not have any blood)
