i bought the CD and have custom edition installed on my computer but i dont have the CD cus my brother lost it. any way i can still play?

Nope, both Halo PC and CE require a CD to work.
Just get $10-$20 from your brother and go out to buy the game again.

Lol, I thought that it was legal to play with a no-cd patch, as long as you have a genuine cd-key installed game. I guess I was wrong... :o

At least Halo 2 Vista doesn't require a dvd to play it after it's installed. One of the good aspects of the PC port.

Yeah. That's right. I don't have a 50 in H3. I never got Onyx in Reach. If a game sucks too much, I won't even bother trying for such trivial "accolades". Besides, I've done way more things that take far more skill and talent than anything that can be done in a video game.

The bungie.net community is the halo PC community that is renowned for being unbelieveably sucky.

Little known trivia: Mac version originally allowed play without the CD in the drive, but was later patched due to piracy concerns. The PC version always required the CD unless you used 3rd party software...
