i have an original xbox and a 46 inch sharp aquos lcd hd tv. now when i play on the full screen it looks very stretched out and is kinda jumpy when i move around making it hard to aim. so what ihave to to is put the side bars on to cut the screen down in size which seems to help. now what i hear is that the 360 is formated for widescreen tvs and hd tvs, so if i played my halo2 on the 360 in full screen would this resolve my problem? any other sugestions would help. thank you

Halo 2 supports widescreen. Just enable it in the dashboard and everything except for the HUD stretching will be resolved.

Are you using component cables for the HDTV? If you're using anything else you'll experience a ton of input lag while the TV takes the time to upscale every frame.

well right now i only have an original xbox so no hd component cables, but my 360 is on the way. and right now i do have it set to widescreen but still jumpy, the jumping goes away with the 360 with the hd cables? and what settings in the dashboard over the best picture ex.. 720p or 1080i and so on
thank you

The "jumping" should go away with HD cables and I can't say what setting will yield the best picture considering I don't have a 360.
