THE NEW HEALTH SYSTEM IS FINAL

HERE IS PROOF THAT CAME FROM THE WEEKLY UPDATE: There's also been something of a separation for church and state as far as the shield level and health meter are concerned. You'll see in good time how that works, but it makes a big difference.

I didnt like the health/ shield bar in halo 1, looked bad and worked bad, the one on the e3 2004 demo looked wicked (yes, I know its just a placeholder) but I liked that one far more, and it was snappy and stylish, i personally hope thye keep it.

omg that last sentence just made you look really stupid

but... anyways what you just said in no way confirms that the health bar they used in the e3 demo will be used in the real game... it even says "you'll see in good time how that works"
that implies that we havent seen it!!!!!
think a little bit man

It does prove that there is a Health bar for the MC weather it is shown or not is unknown.

all that statement proves is that bungie has finalized the health bar... IT NEVER SAID THAT THE HEALTH BAR AT E3 WAS THE FINAL VERSION!

ummmmmmmm.

Its just a plain shield bar with no health bars underneath, but you still have health. The shield bar looks a bit different, but doesnt affect anything.

Ok what I said did not come out right. I think it proves there is a health system more advanced than what was seen at E3. Instead of a bar the shield bar may change color to reflect your health status.

I'll be on my own side.

i wonder if they'll make 2 different health bars:one for Spartans and one for Elites in MP? because their armor isnt exactly the same

This is ridiculous. I dont understand the people complaining about the health bar in Halo 1, there was nothing wrong with it, it worked perfectly, and looked damn cool. WHy do I keep hearing this 'die after 3 hits once shield is gone' comment? That would be god damn retarded, how would this work in regards to rocket launchers? 3 hits? So the fast firing weapons will become lethal, and slow firing weapons obsolete?

I think they will keep the health bar concept, and just improve its presentation or execution. I have no clue how people came to the assumption that 'seperation of church and state' meant that the health bar would not be represented on the HUD at all. And E3 was a place holder, so what it looks like is irrelevant.

either way, its halo 2. C'mon does it matter what such an insignifigant thing in the corner of the screen looks like, when your playing it, you wont give a damn what it looks like.
