I'm very suprised you consider them both mid-sized. I would say midship is small and ivory tower is mid-sized. They are very different.

But I would definitely go for midsip. I love symmetrical arenas.

Everyone is entitled to their own wrong opinion.

I'm part of the Bungie.net Minecraft group/server called SeptaCrafters
We're a Bungie.net group that goes to our very own Bungie server. Most players are from the Halo community either off Bungie itself or through word to Halo friends.

midship=sword=n00b=me don't play
Ivery Tower=sniper=sweet=play

the end lol........i don't like midship because people use the sword wayyyyyyyyy to much

All throughout history great empires rise and fall. How you ask?
Two reasons:
1. Economic failure because of either inflation or socialistic programs.
2. War. Their armies were spread too thin and too far from home.

The United States has bases all around the world in "hazardous" areas and it's economy collapses it seems every 20 years. Do you really think that history won't change? Do you really think that you can run the world?

I like ivory tower better

midship is definatly funner to play on, on ivory tower most of the combat is in the top hallway while midship its all over. that hallway gets pretty boring..

In nearly every online Slayer or non-Objective game I've played on Ivory Tower, it ends up becoming a struggle for control of the upper hallway and the immediate area. It's sort of like Colossus in that regard: even though the sniper rifle doesn't break Ivory Tower like it breaks Colossus, the teams tend to fight for that area because it provides a strategic advantage over a decent chunk of the rest of the map.

I think it can be fun fighting for control of the hallway, for the most part, because the advent of an overshield helps prospective invaders and gives them at least a fighting chance, when they can hurl a grenade around the corner and take down the shields of an unwary enemy.

I like Midship because...well, it's Midship. Playing Objective gametypes on it is pretty fun, because even though it doesn't take long to carry a flag or bomb across the map, wary opponents will catch sight of you and exterminate you before you can get back to your base. By the same token, it seems like the fighting is well distributed: when you're running an object across the map, you'll often see your teammates battling the other team all around. Pit of Death is great for LAN parties: FFA territories with swords and no motion sensors. Straight-up Slayer works just as well.

In the end...probably Ivory Tower, because you can fall out of the floor and climb up an invisible staircase. Gameplay mechanics be damned.

Midship is way too symmetrical... So it is a little boring.
Ivory Tower has so many different parts to the map, which allows for all sorts of playing styles.
For example, how many other small, indoor maps have sniper rifles?
