So, you too are saying that time is only relative.

it's hard to explain, but it's the truth. Look at time as artificial, there is no past. Just focus at the concept of time, and exentually, the intelligent, will understand it is purely manmade, there is no past, just something that hapened, there is just movement.

It's not a theory, it's a fact.

I have three words for you. Zeno of Elea. Zeno was a greek philosopher and mathematician in ancient greece. He stated that travel through time is nonexistant. That there is only ever one point in time at any given moment. Take this for example:

An arrow is released into the air toward a tree. Now stop time. The arrow is in one place. It is always a measurable distance from the tree. The arrow is always in one place in space and time.

Now, he is correct. You're trying to take it one step further by saying that it was never in a different spot than what it is currently in. However, you're acting as if time is a spacial dimension(length, width, height, etc.), however, time is a temporal dimension that is not linear as spacial dimensions are. It follows different rules. As space is always measured in positive numbers, but time can be measured in negatives because it has passed and is no longer in the present.

well, yes, let me correct myself, the past is existant, but untouchable, yet in reality there is no trace to it, except for the theory of wormholes, which is like a chute in time, I beleive if there is any past travel, that's it.

Wormholes??? Are you kidding me? I'm sorry, I just find that rather amusing. Wormholes are the least accepted scientific theory on time travel(though I don't trust their choices anyway). Do you have any proof of these "portals"?

Brovo, Ender.

Anyway, I don't think that it would be possible to go back in time, but mabey forward.
I see it like this.

Each and every second is gone once it has pasted. Now how could we get it back to go back into time? We can't, and shouldn't. Now time machines and whatnot would affect the people that are inside of it, not the whole universe like they would have to in order for this to work. This is all very confusing to me to, so bear with me. Going to the future might just be as simple as stopping your biological clock, or freeze yourself in a way. If you stop the effect time has on you and your body & then start it up again at a point in the future, that might come close.

Yes i am crazy & confused.

I believe that humans do not have the capacity to fully understand time and space, hence we should not bother to do so.

A. How to get to the past? I don't know. I deal more with what happens when you do get there.
B. Future? No. You are suggesting Time Dilation again. You know, that may be my first article on my group: Time Travel vs. Time Dilation.

Not bother? What fun would there be in life then? We'd never learn anything!!!

That isn't going forward in time, that is putting yourself away in a freezer until someone comes to thaw you out. You can't go forward in time because the future hasn't happened yet. You can't go to something that doesn't exist, which is like what others have been saying about the past. It has come and gone but now it is non-existent except in memory.

well, forgive me for my bluntless.

You see, wormholes are an expantion to blackholes, which are created by ripping throup space with great force created by supernovas (exploding star), but there are super giants (Extremely huge stars), which could have a force to make a wormhole, and people beleive they can rip through time and space. I din't really beleive it, but it's possible, like a said, like a chute in the present.

I think we are meant to try and understand/figure out everything our world presents us with. If we were not meant to, why would our minds try to?
Unless we were meant to think about it, and make our crazy theories on how the universe works, but it was made so complex that we will never do so.
Maybe the universe is so simple, that we've gone beyond the meaning and screwed ourselves over big time.

Or maybe there are great mods in the sky that laugh at our pitiful attempts to understand...oh wait, now it is getting religious.

Don't worry, I know the theory of wormholes and supermassive black holes. I don't think that you have your facts straight. Let me explain.

Supernovae do not rip with force. What happens is that once they explode, the gravity well at the core, callapses upon itself, thus creating a singularity. Black holes do not detroy space, they bend it and the energy around it.

I swear I saw that weird picture of Achronos in the sky during a lightning storm one time. It kind of looked like he was crying with laughter, then it rained.

Then I defecated my pants, out of nowhere, like it was some outside force.. Then I gave the sky the middle finger.

Okay guys, I gotta go for now. I may be back in a half an hour or so. If not, good night and have fun discussing this!

Blackholes are not created by ripping through space with the great force created by supernovas. They are by a star having so much mass and density that it collapses under its own gravity.

Just to let you know, they are also formed by supernovae. They just don't rip space.

right, forgive me for my mistake, It's been a while since I've researched them.

Everything will be gone long before me. When the first living thing was born, I was here, waiting. When the last living thing dies, my job is finished. I'll put the chairs on the tables, turn out the lights and lock the universe behind me when I leave.

I heard on the History channel a little while ago, that they tried time travel back in one of the World Wars. It was a ship with crew on it. They were never seen again.

Ya, when they say "They were never seen again." All belief in it is lost right there.
