bah

I was playing Halo a long time ago, when I noticed how attuned I was to the vibrations in the controller. It happened specifically when a lot of firing was going on during co-op and I felt a shotgun shot hit me. I never recalled hearing it, but I knew it was the shotgun that had hit me. It then occured to me that I knew every weapon in the game based upon feel, and harley based upon sound at all. When i hear a shotgun go off in a Flood level, I hardly react, but when I feel the shot hit me, I freak out and kill the threat. I was just wondering if anyone else has realised the same thing. I find it interesting that Bungie can do so much with a controller. Something as subtle as a vibration can unconsciously cause you to play better. So so cool.

And the very fact that I've played the game so much that I've picked up on it. Well, I do say I won't go bragging to normal people that I know what weapon is firing just by feel.

Guys and gals, we have a problem. We need to expand our target penetration. After much drinking and hands on testing behind closed doors, they had the solution! A sensual vibrator with astonishing AI! To all you ladies on the Bungie squad, thanks for sucking it up and putting your two cents in!

Brings new meaning to the phrase "stay in the game".

I can say more

Rip wasn't going anywhere near the topic that you touched on; and this is an example by itself as to how good topics get locked

And Rip, I realized the same thing about a month ago; this is because only recently I got myself a controller S, a big upgrade from a Madcatz piece

Cronin's Law----The New Flood Drinking Game

its times like these I wish I had an Xbox... I have to go on sound alone, but I know what you mean, and it is very useful. if you hear it, you dont know whether your getting hit or not. if you can feel it, then you know they hit ya, and with what.

With B.B. gone, the passion of Bungie.net has lessened.

I realized this as well... well, unconsciously (did I spell that right?)... I've always reacted to feel rather than sounds... but I haven't really been aware that that was the case until now... I like that reawakened feeling akin to "oh yeah,.... now I remember..."

And The Ringer...... lets just try to keep our minds out of the gutter area, hmmmmm?

Yes, I was just playing PoA on Legendary and I got in the room with "covanant on the landing above us". An Elite ran up to me when I was on the top level and killed me. But when I died it gave me a melee death. ANd I said to myself, "hey that's a melee death.

ye, it hightens your playing skill by quite abit once you 'become one with the game' so to speak. i still respond to sound though as well as vibration because its essential to be aware of your surrondings in multiplayer combat.
