Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow:  47%

I definatly pick Splinter Cell, because it's campaign was so immersive and awesom. Pandora had dimmed down graphics, clunkier movement, and a PS2ish multiplayer mode that had little to no polish.

Agreed, but the multplayer was a lot of fun if you're playing LAN.

Now Chaos Theory - The beta is GREAT. I can't wait for that to come out.

You should have added that to the poll.

Like I said, the beta is out, so you could base it on some things.

But you're right, it would dominate the poll.

I voted Splinter Cell, by the way.

i just tried to play PT single player... man it is soo clunky i cant imagine how i ever liked it. Splinter Cell was more fast paced, with intense shootouts and stealth moments. PT is just a wannabee with repeditive stealth moments and lackluster shootouts.

I liked Pandora Tomorrow. Although I never really played the first one.Hmm.

Pandora plays like a PS2 game. It's clumky, rigid, glitchy, and the graphics/lighting are flat out bad. Not to mention the horrendous sound & voice acting (Not including Fisher).

The first, on the other hand, looks, feels, and plays like a real life event. its absolutly amazing. There's a reason why it got better reviews than Halo, you know.

The first one was too hard for me. Although I did only play once for half an hour.

Well, OXM did say that they would have given Halo a 9.9999, if they had played it a lot more before reviewing it. But that statement still stands true.

its a STEALTH game. theres not supposed to be shootouts.

but Chaos Theory will be the -blam!-. the MP will be back, but as Mercs, you can get a shotgun or Uzi or the rifle. and as spies, you get active camo among other things

Yeah, I didn't actually mind Pandora Tomorrow too much. Pandora Tomorrow did have a different control scheme, but it wasn't like it was that hard to get used to. Also, PT did have some graphical tweaks and a few cool new gameplay maneuvers, like the half split jump. And seriously, nothing is as cool as hanging on the side of a train going at 200 MPH.

Pandora Tomorrow was equally as hard as Splinter Cell. It seemed easier because you're used to the gameplay already.

But, all in all, I also think that Splinter Cell is better, but only by a little bit. Mostly 'cause it has that one cool Crystal Method song as its intro.

Chaos Theory is gonna blow both of these out of the water and then eat their children.

I thought both were good. Very, actually. Although I never played PT Multiplayer. Anyhow, PT wasn't clunky when I played it. I had the computer version....

PT multiplayer was the greatest. I enjoyed single player on the original Splinter Cell better, but the innovative multiplayer more than makes up for the average gameplay in PT. I still get a kick out of breaking a unsuspecting merc's neck. I just can't wait for CT.

Ok, PT had way worse graphics. Just compare. SC maxed out the Xbox and then some, PT didnt even max out the PS2. PT's gameplay flat out sucked. It was too slow and way way way too clunky (grab a guy from behind. The game like pauses, then sam flashes into place, then grabbes him choppily). SC is way longer and harder. It took me like a month to beat it first time round, and it took me 2 weeks to beat PT. And no, i wasnt used to the gameplay. I really, really sucked at both. The multiplayer was cool and unique, but it was just too cartoony and tame. i mean, if you can find me a mercinary in real life that sports yellow suits, then ill give you some money.

SC also has downloadable levels. they suck, but thier still cool.

so graphically, physically, and gameplay wise, SC is the superior.

i admit, i liked it when it first came out, but now its nearly impossible to be stealthy as a spy. The spies can own anyone if they run in, throw a gas grenade, and snap some necks. its just gotten too unbalanced.
