I put game in brackets cos I consider these guys to be better than film composers. There are good cases for each:
Uematsu has composed 1000s of pieces, all of excellent standard but for a few. They greatly improve the sometimes boring games and add incredible atmosphere to them.
O'Donnell, though, has captured the mood perfectly, his music scared me more than the actual flood!! He has created his own unique and original style - I have never seen violins used to create an action feel before, and it works well.
Tough choice eh? But I'm pretty sure who most Bungie fans will go for.
