Did any of you read the Bungie weekly update? he said you carry three weapons at a time 2 weapons take up 2 slots an example of this is you pick up another Smg to compliment the one you already have, so you just keep switching through your available weapons in your inventory of weapons with the Y button until you find the weapon set you have, It seems I'm the only one that seems to understand the concept that I've described several times.

You cannot rotate between the three weapons you are holding. The only time you have three weapons is when you are duel-wielding at any other time you only have two

Okay, I am going to explain this very carefully:

In the New BWU(Bungie weekly update), they said and I quote:"The player can now hold 3 weapons," He did not elaborate, so I assumed and assumed correctly that, you can in fact keep the second weapon that is used for Dual-Wielding, the 3rd weapon slot is used for the extra weapon and by process of elimination I came to this conclusion(Am I gonig to fast for you?):

By pressing the Weapon Switch Button "Y", you can cycle through your available weapons by pressing "Y" and he'll pull out each weapon in each slot, mkay? In the 3rd slot there is an extra Smg so in the 3rd slot MC pulls out a second gun to put in his left hand(Because He has the first smg equipped)

So the way this breaks down is like this:
Press "y" once you Have the BR equipped
Press "y" again you put away the BR and you pull the Smg out
Press "y" a third time and out of the 3rd slot comes a second Smg

Or there is this Option:
press "y' to switch from BR to Smg
You have smg equipped, and in the 3rd slot you have another Smg you press "X' to dual-wield.

I hope this clears it up a bit.

instead of going through this entire argument, i'm going to say what i know and leve this topic, if you watch the 2003 E3 video he carries a BR and 2 SMG's now that we got that settled, let's get stated, he goes throug the begining with just the BR until he runs into a guy and carries a duel weilded gun through the whole mission and switches between two SMG's and a BR over and over, now i know what i saw so if he was to do what he did in that video, some button switches between duel weild and BR without dropping one of the duel weilded guns in his own two hands that's what i got.

the weekly update doesnt say that you drop your left handed weapon when you switch to your holstered weapon. lol.

So you're making assumptions then? We're basing our claims off of every thing we've read from people who played the game. Plus the update does imply it. Lets read again.

Well, if you're holding a weapon in one hand, and you have another "holstered" you can dual-wield a third. That means the reserve weapon simply stays put when you pick up the dual-wield weapon. Effectively that lets you have three weapons at one time.

Words like Effectively imply that this is the only way to carry three weapons. Try reading a bit deeper than complete surface.

you can holster two weapons at once. if you drop your left handed weapon if you switch to your reserve, that would be very ineffective.

Since earlier I said you cant holster 2 weapons, and you then quoted that telling me to read the update, are you know proving my point? Thanks!

what point of that proves your point?

Simply the fact that your last statement didnt go against anything Ive ever said.

all games do it that way when dual wielding. My guess is that he slides it along a clip belt on his armour or something. But he definately IS reloading there ask a mod if you dont believe me.

NO. WRONG.

that would be very ineffective
It doesnt matter if you don't think it would be effective. It's balanced.

Sooooo where is ANY evidence that it you can holster two weapons.

ATTENTION: Show me evidence that you can holster two weapons. Halo 1 rules, hands on reports and support from the update say that you can only holster one. All this two weapon holster crap is spoken directly from the ass.

No you cant

Thats why its balanced! you cant continually use the weapons together making you all powerful, it makes it more strategic.
