Words like Effectively imply that this is the only way to carry three weapons. Try reading a bit deeper than complete surface.

it may "imply" that to you but it doesn't say that you can.

Sooooo where is ANY evidence that it you can holster two weapons.

ATTENTION: Show me evidence that you can holster two weapons. Halo 1 rules, hands on reports and support from the update say that you can only holster one. All this two weapon holster crap is spoken directly from the ass.

e3 2k3 demo 4:45 - 4:50 go watch it

IT HAS BEEN CHANGED!!!! IN 2003 BUNGIE HADNT DECIDED ON HOW BALANCING DUAL WEAPONS WOULD WORK!!!!! PLEASE SHISKA! READ THIS AND SHUT THESE PEOPLE UP!!!

Supertoy, thats what i meant. you can have 2 weapons for dual wielding (2 needlers) , and one other weapon (battle rifle).

Yes thats fine, but you cant keep both Needlers when you switch to your Battle Rifle!

ok where the -blam!- does it show that, you can't just say that, you have to show me proof.

Okay, quick question mithrandir2, who were you talking to when you made this statement?

E3 2003 is a year old they barely had anything built in.

Now for the ultimate pwnage

Currently, to dual wield, you simply approach a second weapon that is lying on the ground. You'll see the standard "press X to swap weapons" message appear in your HUD. However, if it's a one handed weapon, you will also see "Press and hold 'Y' to dual wield". If you do that, you will pick up the gun in your left hand. R-trigger fires the right weapon, L-trigger the left. You can't melee attack or throw grenades while dual wielding. You can stop dual wielding at any time by pressing melee attack (discards extra weapon) or by pressing Y to switch to your secondary weapon.

YOU ARE ALL DONE! (except for those arguing no two holsters :) )

I just gave direct proof from someone that played it at E3. You can not holster two weapons, you drop the left hand weapon when switching to your holstered weapon Here is the link AGAIN:

http://opa-ages.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=10241&st=1 20

And the quote from it:

Currently, to dual wield, you simply approach a second weapon that is lying on the ground. You'll see the standard "press X to swap weapons" message appear in your HUD. However, if it's a one handed weapon, you will also see "Press and hold 'Y' to dual wield". If you do that, you will pick up the gun in your left hand. it doesnt say you drop your left hand weapon when you switch to your holstered weapon. it says you press the B button to discard your left handed weapon.

if you do drop your left handed weapon when you switch to your holstered weapon, i will accept it.

one were forced to agree upon is that bungie could make any change that they would want to before the game comes out like say that they were going to make something on the game did, decided it wasn't fit to be in halo 2 or some other reason and took it out, i don't know nearly as much as 2004 E3 stuff as i do know 2003 E3. i know what happend in the 2003 demo, so i'm just saying that if things were to go with the way of 2003 it would be the way i know, but i would like to see what changes occured since 2003-2004 E3 so for all i know there could be 4 holsters for when it actully comes out (1 on each leg and 2 on his back) but i know what was in it in 2003 and i've heard stuff about 2004 E3 but can't be absulutly sure on what and how it played at the 2004 E3 demo, btw how do you get into E3, isn't it in LA and is there a price to get in?
