yeah well our brain power is much superior than yours mr carnag3

Do you seriously think i care????

I would rather have less brain power than be a nerd that thinks they are cool posting messages like the above in a forum that is nothing to do with nerds but people who want to talk about a quality game and actually have a life.

As for the nerd alliance i'm -blam!- it, i may need a change of underwear :(

Thank you, "Draerden", for pointing out my mistake. Indeed, I now realise that plasma is in fact affected by magnetic fields, as the Aurora Borealis is caused by the earth's magnetic fields, and of course, the Aurora is composed of plasma.

Yes, Plasma is a fairly new science and is our only hope of creating "Star Trek" style effects.

I'd also theorize the "homing" feature on the Plasma pistol involves using a magnetic field upon the charge at a distance.

super geek, do you wish to discuss the way in which a plasma pistol might guide the plasma from a distance? I think it might involve some kind of remote-manipulation of the magnetic field that surrounds the plasma bolt. But how can one manipulate and control a magnetic field from a distance, I ask you?

ahhh yes one does ask how can one manipulate and control a magnetic field from a distance........can anyone explain this to us

Draerden: u seem like the kind of individual with a sufficient intelligence caliber to converse with the members of the "nerd alliance"- perhaps you would care to discuss how one might manipulate a plasma bolt (encased in a magnetic field) from a distance?

you would apear to have made a prior mistake. the erora borialas (northen lighst) is, in fact the result of soler particals interaction with the Earth's magnetic field. These particals, though origanly plasma will have cooled and bicome ionised atoms

You would need two seperate emission points to create two overlapping magnetic fields. The plasma bolt would likely ride the intersection points between the two fields. It would use its momentum from the inital launch to overcome the tendency for it to follow the lines of force.

That's the best possibility I think and would explain why all the Covenant weapons, including their pistols have a two sectioned frame, both upper and lower.

Super_nerd:
I'm not an expert on radiation, so thats prolly the only reason why my theory was obselete. Either way, I think the main question is if there are any planets in that 25,000 lightyear radius?

More or less, my theory is pretty false. :'(

If centrifugal force was relied upon to create gravity on a Halo ring, all the air would fly out the sides.
