This is a RETICULE, and that is a RETICLE. I'm using the latter to aim. And what are you using?
Many people seem to have problems when trying to install custom maps for Halo:CE, so here's a quick how-to.
Downloaded maps usually are packed either as .RAR archive, or as .ZIP file. In case of a .RAR archive you have to download WinRAR to unpack it.
Independent whether it's a .RAR or .ZIP file, unpack the downloaded file somewhere you find it again easily. Now open the newly created folder with the unpacked file(s), and search for any file(s) with a .MAP extension. If there aren't any files in the folder you just opened except another folder, open it and look in there as well.
Once you have located the .MAP file(s), you have to get them into the ..\maps folder of your Halo:CE installation. If you have installed Halo:CE on its default installation path, the .MAP file(s) go to C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition\maps. Make sure to copy only the actual .MAP files there; copying the whole folder will not work, and copying any other files in there is NOT recommended.
After you're done the path to the new map should be C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition\maps\the_new_map.map. And now you're done. :-)
