i agree, i mean, im pretty damn good at halo, but seriously, some people need to get a life. To figure out if you are a halo nerd, i've devised a little formula below.

f (x) = H^k-a

H = how many hours of halo you play per unit time on average
k = what you're knowledge is like, (eg. knowing the serial numbers on grunts) (rating from 1-10, 1 not knowing anything, 10 knowing everything)
a = number of other useful activities you attend per unit time on average (same as H) (eg. sports, music, etc.

i chose week for the unit time, and im a nerd at 25. The higher the number, the more of a nerd you are. If it's high, get a life.

PS. i like playing halo with people who hardly ever play, but have enough talent to still be good.

I don't need the formula. I'm a nerd for Halo.

I'm not a nerd. I know the names of the guns (MA5B, M6D, M90, S2-AM the like ^_^ lol) because I've read the books a couple of times. (and when you can read all three halo books in one day... you tend to end up reading all of your books alot) But I don't memorize every little detail.

Anyways. I've had a grunt blow up a team mate too! But mine was a grunt first then the same grunt blasted an elite. On legendary. Pretty darn funny.

I like shooting them with a sniper rifle in the toes ha.

About those people about the methane tanks, I've read the books(thus, confirming my nerdity!)and if you rip it off, they jerk like heck. It's funny enough you won't be able to stop laughing to do all the other stuff.

stick a plasma gernade to their foot and another to their chest... the first blast launches them and then they expload in the air.

I usually play the game seriously or not at all, otherwise it gets way too boring. So I do what's strategically best, which is usually not wasting ammo or nades on them. Therefore, I just pistol whip them.

Me: "OMFG, Dude... wtf!"
AbolitionofMan: "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to betray you."
Me: "That's the 4th time in this game alone!"
Chris: "Third, besides he had the flag I was trying to stop him, how was I supposed to know you were there."
Me: "I said, 'I got the Flag, don't shoot.'"
Chris: "Well those Wraith shots take a while to reach you."
Me: "You were right next to me, I had killed him and a minute passed before you decided to shoot."
Chris: "Hahahahaha, yeah... that was great."

Unload an entre clip of Needles into them and hope they carry nades, cause when the secondarly explosions go off they can take out A LOT of Covies.

how about rip the methane tank off and then, right before they start to jerk around, stick a plasma gerade where the tank was and throw the body into a group of other enemies. by the way, i am a total halo nerd, i pay attention during all the cut scenes every time i play through the game(curreently on my 111 time) and can almost qoute the lines exactly, i have read the books several times, and have a average daily playing time of six to seven hours to improve my skills in MP. and to this day i still have that same schedule, i even pay attention to when the next book comes out.
