Random Update
I think Chapter 21 is shaping up pretty good. I guess aside from calling it a 'setting up' chapter, you could call it a 'history' chapter as well. Not necessarily anything like the Covenant History Chapters, but it does convey a specific historical feel to each scene. Not sure how this came to be, but it has, and I'm kinda liking it. Gives me much better lead-ins for each scene, so I'm not just thrusting everyone into the middle of a conversation or something.
Some people have asked so I will answer.
I've been playing the F.E.A.R single player demo, along with the Bet on Soldier: Blood Sport single player demo lately for my PC gaming needs. Both are pretty darn cool, though F.E.A.R is shaping up to be really cool.
Console-wise it was Darkwatch a little while ago, but it was a really short game, and nobody aside from me and two guys in London seemed to be playing the multiplayer so I moved on. Other than that I've been playing Mario Superstar Baseball. Its really just stupidly fun. I forced my friends to play it at first but nowadays we have some pretty intense get-togethers with the Cube, and my poor arm can attest to the fact that their have been violent breakouts at times.
Portable gaming I'm all about Nintendogs. I've got a husky named Kuno-tan and so far I've taught him nine tricks (only me and one other person outside of Japan will get that joke I just made). Also Advance Wars Dual Strike is pretty cool, but it takes me forever to play strategy games. It took me four months to finally finish Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones (not because I suck at them, just because since they're so turn-based I literally take forever to finish a single battle, I'll play a turn then shut it off for a day).
I'm waiting for Burnout Legends so I can actually play with my PSP for the first time in months. It just sits there nowadays, and I can only sympathetically pat it on the head as I pass by. Burnout better be really awesome cause aside from that, I won't be playing anything else on the fledgling handheld (GTA is as appealing as having a car run me over).
Yes, I have an Xbox 360 preordered. The 'Premium' Console that is. Don't know why anybody would go for the stripped down crap version, but I won't get into that here. I've also put money down on a few games as well, but considering Microsoft hasn't spilled the beans on what's coming out on launch day, I have no idea what I'll end up playing come launch.
Music-wise, I've been listening to a lot of Death Cab for Cutie. Love those guys. Also, someone recently gave me a copy of the entire Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars soundtrack, so I've been absorbing that as well. Ah the memories.
There, now with that out of the way we can concentrate on Chapter 21.
I promise there'll be things inside that will make you smirk to yourself, shaking your head softly while saying, "Oh Mr. Clark, you clever devil you."
