FYI; PS2 is a peice of crap, even my friends say so and they all own PS2s, the damn thing can't handle the amount of strain the Game cube and the xbox can. It may have good graphics for some games (killzone for example) but the framerate drops or gets real choppy.

I've got a general outline of Chapter 22, I think I mentioned this before. As such I feel like now would be a good time to go over that list of terms that will be given fleshing out in this chapter.

Like I said before, this chapter is going to nearly completely expose my Forerunner theory, and I think some of the subsequent events are really going to be enjoyable to you guys. I really do think this chapter will be the end of all chapters, and will be matched by nothing except maybe the final chapter (not including the lone epilogue I have planned). That's in regards to this story though, so don't go thinking I've suddenly declared war on every other fanfic.

If you still want to submit one of your own theories about what the truth behind the Forerunners truly is, now is the time to do so, because once this chapter is released there will be no more speculation (well, maybe a tiny bit) and we can all sit back and either decide if I'm a genius or insane. Maybe a little of both.

Every single item on that list of terms I gave you guys quite awhile ago will be showcased in this coming chapter. You've already heard both Dr. Halsey and the Forerunner A.I mention the Sanctuary. That's just the tip of the iceburg....

I really think what I need to do is talk with someone about my theories outright, no dancing around the subject, and its because of that, that I've invited several friends over to watch Advent Children. Once they're here I'll blindside them with Halo theology. I actually have graphs, charts, and documentation made up of this stuff. I'm truly a freak.

Absolutely no time frame for when this chapter could be done. I'm thinking now that before I reach the conclusion I'll decide to split the chapter into two sections, ensuring that I don't take two months to write the whole thing. I'm trying not to do that though, I really want the chapter to be a complete thing, but even then I realize it's size is going to be more than likely double that of Chapter 18. Which was nearly 20,000 words. That's a big chapter, double that and you get a small novel right there, in just one chapter.

Not sure what I'll end up doing, but rest assured this story is never far from my mind, in fact I think it occupies a little too much of my mind. Yesterday I walked into a stop sign. Coincidence? Well no not really, I'm pretty much a stupid klutz.

well.... haven't been on these forums in an age... I'm one of the people who played FFVII, never actually owned it, just walked down the road and played it at my friends when he got it when it first came out (aged 7... ah.. sweet memories) that game was brilliant... then FFVIII... another classic game...

anyway... the story rocks man, havent been on the forums much, but been keeping up on it on fanfiction.net... plenty of interesting ideas you've got.

A hardcore gamer isn't someone who can pick up a controller and within 5 minutes own everyone... as a friend of mine proved last night (the one who owned FFVII) he can and will own everyone even after he stops playing video games in favour of women - seriously, that guy refuses to lose even after not playing a single video game for 6 months.

I began with a N64, and i still have it. in fact, I got several games for it back two days ago, and I began playing, Mario 64 and Rayman 2 again. I had no idea that Ubisoft made rayman, until yesterday. And my brother was playing Battletanks: Global Assault.
The nostalgia, it fills me, IT IS NEAT!!!!

My first console and game was N64 with Perfect Dark. Now the one dark secret i have, i never completed storymode on PD64. I just played the Multiplayer and bots like revenge-bot.

After that I had SNES, only because i wanted to play game called maui mallard: in cold shadow.

After that I bought XBOX with Halo :CE.

Those who have chance, should try Maui Mallard :In Cold Shadow.

Unfortunately I do not use my Xbox much lately. My sister has taken over the reigns on Halo 2, and if you've taken the time to look at my stats, you'll see that she is not too bad. Of course you guys can play with her, but I'm not sure if she'd accept any invites.

Right now I'm playing Batallion Wars on GameCube. Randomly picked it up along with Ninja Gaiden Black while at Best Buy today. I was actually hoping to see a copy of Indigo Prophecy waiting for me, but alas it was not there.

I suppose in regards to understanding what is going on in Advent Children, you have to know and understand two things from FFVII. Basically, Aerith's death, and how it affected Cloud. The second thing would be the understanding of just what Sephiroth really was in the game, and what Cloud did to him in the past. I think those two things should keep you abreast on the situation, well that and the knowledge that after the Lifestream basically saved the planet, the Earth kinda took a little frustration out on people, bestowing the disease known as Geostigma upon the human race.

Slowly getting work done on Chapter 22. I'd like to think I'm building steam, and eventually I'll just hit a high note and keep on rolling, finishing this entire behemoth of a chapter in time for the one month deadline, but even I know that this more than likely won't occur.

that is !~~**ANOTHER**~~! thing that makes a hardcore gamer.... but what I said is true too... i was just too sleepy to put my WHOILEe opinion... which would take me too long even when im not sleepy....

Hehe... if you say so buddy... I'm still going with someone who can drink half a crate of booze and still own anyone at any game known to man... now THERE is a skill :-p

Figured I'd give you guys a little heads-up. Its interesting there's people telling me they're impatient. Its only been two weeks since I released Chapter 21. You guys should be used to waiting for weeks on end for my stuff, its like a right of passage.

I've got somewhere between ten and fifteen pages done so far, which is pretty interesting considering I haven't exactly been busting my ass trying to hammer it out. The reason I don't have a solid number is because I'm writing this chapter fragmentally. Basically whatever scene I wanna write I just go ahead and write, not givnig much thought to where it actually will fit into the chapter. This is an interesting approach, and it really helps when I'm feeling like writing is the last thing I want to be doing.

I have of course been writing the more 'exciting' scenes first. There's a huge scene I've got looming in the background, between the Forerunner and the Master Chief (I'll let you decide which one). Its gonna be looooong, and it'll take a great deal of effort to not make it dull and repetitive.

If I can keep at this pace I just might hit the one month deadline, which is surprising.
