Wow that chapter was long It is not like me to not post anything about your new chapter the day it comes out, I started yesterday and wasn't able to finish it because I had homework to do, which is a first. Well any way awesome chapter Mr. Clark, I hope the Master Chief comes back, he is cooler than Cyriacus in my opinion.

for some strange reason i keep thinkin of Advent Rising, things are so similar in this, the only exception is that his power is coming from the suit instead of himself, and even the aliens in it remind me of the Forerunners. Also with the bond between the two its strange, which also reminds me of Advent Rising! Another thing i liked was Johns first dream sequence, it reminded me oddly of my own with Linda and her reminiscing on her past life. Woooow, this is the kewlest thing since they showed the demise of the Xbox's behemoth of a control with the intro of the S...... woow

WOW... WOW... It really is your best chapter yet MC! Interesting views on the Half-Breeds. I have several ideas now concerning Fasul, the Prophets, and that character in the fourth scene from chapter 21. 22 took me almost two hours to read, not that I minded it. The quality of this chapter was very much worth the wait and I hope that you will take your time on the next one.

As always, keep up the Awsome work!!!

meh, i don't think that gravemind is a half-breed at all. i mean as clark said, the majal found the flood, and grave mind is the flood. i'd have to agree w/ who ever said it before that the forerunner that Truth found would be subjected to the term half-breed. guess my biggest question would have to be whether or not the cheif keeps himself intact. he is the main character, thus he will probably "reposses" his body once again. but what if jan dies? will he once again lose control and go completely neo on everyone? to much in store here to give an accurate depiction as to what will happen in clark's fanfic. got one giant mess goin on here, Forerunner(s) goin solo against everyone, covenant still wreaking havoc in the universe, the halos still on standby, humans and the ex-covenant being the underdogs showing some strength, and last but not least, the long forgotten flood. wtf is going to happen? only clark knows

Right... (pauses for a breath) that was incredible.

Question addressed to everyone:

I know that we all love the MC, but if he does survive the war, what would he be good for once it is over? Would you prefer him to go down blazing with glory or should he survive and eventually rot away in some UNSC retirement home?

... I stand on a threshold of awe. No... awe would not be the correct term. Is it possible I have no words to discribe this latest chapter?

I'm holding my cheek, because it is sore from the right-hook I just recieved. The Armor of the Reclaimer.. A spartan's bloodline which is that of a long deceased hero that fought in a blaze of glory and revenge. Power and Technology combined to make a soldier that could obliterate an army of thousands. My God you have unleashed everything you said you would. A savior.

I bow to you.

One man, on the verge of insanity. Torn between the memories of Cyriacus and the mind of John... saved by the voice of Jan, mentally destroyed yet struggling to understand his fate.

From an Anime fan to an Anime fan... I bow to you. You took your story in one direction and perfectly made a 90degree turn. Beautifully decripted, excellently delivered.

John's fate is already decided... the end of a war... indeed it is... and what will happen when the war ends? I wait. Like us all, X360 be damned, I wait.

... I stand on a threshold of awe. No... awe would not be the correct term.

I agree with the part about the forerunner Truth is with.

Think about it, werent the half-breeds described as always being violent?

About half breeds:

That scene with gravemind, when MC and arbiter meet, remember how it has the prophet of regret?

Notice how regret looks like a flood form, except for the fact that it is able to speak something coherent?

this is just a stab in the dark but I think that regret (in that scene) may be a half breed.

Hmm, Fasul said that they had trained their Reclaimers from a young age to withstand the trials put before them when they became true Reclaimers, and that John had not and so he would die from having too much strain on his body. However, John was trained from a young age as most, if not everyone knows. So is it possible that Fasul didn't know that?

I think I'm going to stop now before I make myself look really dumb.
