Grand Hierarch of the Covenant Elite Community!

Great chapter. With a new Monitor and of course the release of the Flood. Keep going this way.

That was an awsome chapter i knew that Kinlumee was running into trouble when he went down that lift. Also I like how you added the Prophets treachery, it made me feel really mad that they would do such a thing. Thnx for the chapter and i hope everything goes well.

He can't be the Arbiter's father. Earlier on it was said that his Father died during the Taming of the Hunters.

Chapter five:

Back in his home, he had been brought up to believe in a code of honor, and how to conduct himself in battle. His father had been a high-ranking fleet commander before his death during the battle to tame the Hunters.

Haha he fooled you guys, he means that his father was the elite from the 1st chapter of the covenants history. You know the one that was made to kill himself by the prophets. I think..... Am i right Clarke???

Great chapter btw, a little more errors grammatically then your normal work, what happened there. (ps, i also find it ironic that i was questioning his writing and meanwhile i cant spell grammatically. I have no idea lol)

Great chapter Again.

Would prophets really tell Arbiter that it was fathers fault that flood kept running around, no they wouldn't. Because if wanted another great leader to their fleet, they need say that his father died a warriors on battlefield.
This will certainly affect to young child, and make him proud of his father, and wanting to join the army.

HEH that's all folks!

Keep up the good work C

If you don't want to read it then don't. But you will/have missed out on some great reading. And had you read it, you would know that the next chapter will contain what you are so eagerly awaiting. - LE

I dont know but i think Kinlumee was his grandfather. I think that was a little too far back in the past to be his father. THEN AGAIN, what the other guy said about telling him he died in battle could be true too! I guess we will have to wait to find out.

Yeah, because nobody knows what the Arbiter's real name is.
I thought I read something in First Strike... about 'The Holder of the Luminous Key' on board Ascendant Justice or something....
And later in First Strike, or.. the end, Tartarus says something about 'the Incompetent...'
Maybe the Arbiter was the 'Holder of the Luminous Key...' anyway, I think the Arbiter is far more than just the weird-armored Elite we saw in Halo 2.

Alright, so Chapter 14 is up, and no PM's have been sent as of yet. Hopefully I'll get around to doing it later today, but since Konoka_chan has disappeared on Spring Break, I'll be sending them out myself, and that's just asking for trouble.

My little hint in my authors notes, about Kinlumee, is important, and so is all the other not-so-subtle hints I've been giving.

I'll give you a few more. The Prophet's treachery runs far deeper than any of us can see, and the Taming of the Hunters might not be what you all think it is.

That's it for now, I'll be back later hopefully with some PM's sent out.

He watches every Hodgetwin video they put up...on ALL their channels. He calls them the Hodge Triplets, and considers himself the 3rd triplet. He's started talking and acting like them now. Every other line out of his mouth "Thaaas some BULLLLLL**** maaayne" or "Gotta make dem gainzzzz". He calls his biceps "gains". When he eats post-workout, he talks to his biceps, "Don't worry gains, I'm feeding you. Daddys gonna feed you, gainz *kisses biceps*".

Great chapter Mr. C! Thanks!

I feel that the Arbiter was raised on lies, as the other Sanghelli were. They told him that his father died honorably in the Taming of the Hunters, so he would follow the same path(fleet commander).. Kinlumee was the Arbiter's Father from what I can see, and the Prophets lied to the Arbiter.

Whlie I agree with you thoughts on that subject, I am curiouse as to what this means.

This is a really amazing work. If it wren't for the copywright infringement, it would definitely make for a good book. I think Bungie would definitely be interested in this. Unless they have a contract with Nylund to do the next book, I think they might be interested in having you write or help write it. They would probably be able to save a lot of money by having an unkown and unpublished author write the next book. You would make less than Nylund, but you would get your name out.

Long story short, I'm going to send a message to Frankie to let him know about your work, and suggest that they hire you or at least let you make money from publishing this.

Very clever chapter. I liked the how the Prophets are still up to devious things among the covenant.Im gonna read it again to see if I can make more sense of it.
I also like that whole father-son mystery. The prophet did mention to Truth about killing his mate but leaving the child. The prophet said there might be a use for him. Interesting....

Masterful chapter, as always. I liked the inclusion of a younger Truth. Nice. And of course the grunts were a nice touch. Waiting for more.
