I will always place the mission first.
I will never accept defeat.

I do have original pieces of writing in the works right now. And yes it is a war-based piece of fiction, so don't worry, I won't suddenly become a Romance author or something.

Found an error.

"Damn! I will be unconscious in only a few hours """ with at """ this rate."

Other then that, cool. I love reading your stuff. After reading the A.N., I see you are a serious writer who knows what your doing. Planning ahead and multiple plots/parts/whatevers , eventually all forming into one event.

awesome story dude. I love how you write for hunters, especially since there's no dialogue. The two in this chapter were great, but i still loved that chapter when the hunters are ambushed by the flood.

I shall cut into 343 Industries Headquarters, retrieve the Halo Bible and burn any 343 Industries employee that stands in my way.

Grand Hierarch of the Covenant Elite Community!

Nice story, Mr_Clark. I liked the beginning of the chapter with the Sangheilli pilot. I felt some kind of bond with him.

But why did he shoot the Jiralhanea with a Plasma Pistol if he also had a Plasma Rifle?

Perhaps Guilty Spark was referring to the "worlds" as instillations. That would add a spin.

Quite a spin indeed.

Don't be too quick to blame the Brutes. They've been deceived much in the same way as the Elites were. Tartarus and his fleet were the only Brutes that were aware of the truth, and now they're all dead/consumed.

They just have a kind of inferiority complex, much like the ODST's. They think they're vastly superior than all others, and they like to show that. Tartarus was blind, but perhaps there are others in the Jiralhanae ranks that may be more open to discussion.

I'm not so sure about Tartarus knowing the truth. I doubt the Prophets would reveal that to any in the Covenant. But then again, the Prophets themselves are disillusioned or at least appear to be.

I think the Brutes, including Tartarus, are fooled.
It's just that they are too dumb to see it.

this chapter rocked man! the one thing i might say against it is that it was too short! but i suppose with writing of this quality itd be difficult to write long enough. oh and the bit with the chief, and the bit with jan, was brief (in respect to the rest of the chapter)

but yeh, this was really great, and im just waiting to see where its all going. have a good one everyone!

I love your story and i seirously wish Bungie would give you a job offering and take you in under their wing, that way you can get some acces to the Halo Bible and write this story the way Bungie wants it, or hopefully, the will be more lenient and say your way is much better than theirs, that way you can just keep going. Also, i just printed out the first 5 chapters [37 or 47 pages i think...] and i know you have 16 chapters total, Maybe you should start calling it a novel and write halo4.

Dude, Eric Nylund doesn't have anything over you. You tell the stories how they are meant to be told.

i think i might have an idea for some story things. What if ackerson actually sent the Spartan III's on the ship with chief with a bomb. a big bomb. or just maybe put a bomb on the ship. that would leave to a big twist

I dont think An Elite would say goddamnit.

Hed say "May it Be damned by the Gods" seeing as they worship more than one god.

Tartarus knew the truth as in, he heard what 343 Guilty Spark said about the extinction of the Forerunner. He chose to ignore it however, much in the same way the Arbiter did at first. Of course, Tartarus didn't find out that his entire race was betrayed by the Prophets like the Elites did.

Well, he died before he realized the Prophets abandoned him much the same as they had the Elites.

Tartarus and the Brutes seem more interested in being better then the Elites, then their concerns for the great journey. Tartarus didn't know the full truth, and he ignored Guilty Sparks statement, but perhaps his (and all the Brutes) hatred deems from something in the past. Perhaps the Brutes and the Elites have a darker history then we know thus far.

Just thought I'd put in my 2 cents.

nice, are u gona publish it? and what the name?.
Keep at it man, ur awsome and i wonder what will happen to the Human race after this whole war is ended. Will they side with the elites, grunts and hunters or will they decide to go against them. I wonder what will happen to MC at the end, will he die or survive?? there are -blam!- load of questions like these and we will find out soon enough.

Tartarus heard the truth from 343 GS, he just refused to believe it.
