Recently I've been having bad lag, even though my ping is good, (66-133). I'll start warping so bad I cant get through a door and driving is impossible.
I thought it was caused by switching from my old wired router to an Apple AirPort Extreme, (I'm still connected to the AirPort Extreme via Ethernet cable). Last night I pulled my old router out of the closet and reinstalled it. At first it seemed a bit better, but tonight the lag is as bad as it was with the AirPort Extreme.
It does not seem like other people are lagging till I show up– I bring the lag.
My next move will be to connect directly to the DSL modem, with no router.
Any other suggestions?
