I don't think bungie is going to make the Halo movie until they complete the story of halo. However the fans are trying to get them too.

The third game isnt coming out. And if it is its going to be crap because bungie said in the second disk for halo 2 that they were sorry or something because they didnt complete the game up to there standards or sumthin, and besides, since microsoft has made so much money off of the halo series thus far they are basically making bungie make another halo. Its all about money, Microsoft likes money, and they make bungie do wut ever they want to get money i think, and so if bunjie does make a halo 3 its going to be crappy because bungie made it just to get it done, not to make it a good game like halos 1 and 2, i think. Besides, probably the only good thing about halo 3 that there is going to be that is good is the stuff that that they didnt get a chance to put in halo 2.

Driven to distraction. ^_^

Its true, a Halo movie script is in the works. See:

http://www.empireonline.co.uk/site/news/newsstory.asp?news_id =16535

Microsoft have employeed Alex Garland to work on the script in conjunction with the guys at Bungie. No movie studios have been approached, which can only be a good thing since they tend to mess up game-to-movie conversions. Once the script is complete, Microsoft have total freedom to choose any studio they desire.

I know it's ever so slightly off topic...but i so hated 28 Days Later...It was a cacky film...lets hope that, that guy does a much better Job!

Also i think Shaun Connery (spelling?) wouldn't be the best to play MC...He doesn't seem to suit the part...Of course MC being the ultimate man of mystery, anyone could play him...just use the voice actor from the actual game ;)
