What the deal with the scrolling speed on firefox on aspx sites I can't figure it out. It's like it has a big problem reading the code. Maybe they should go back to the beta phases again. I love the browser so much better than iexplorer but damn it needsto speed up on scrolling. I have to use iexplorer just so I can use b.net and I use firefox for everything else.

These forums are so big and complex, its hard for Firefox to handle them. Its a great explorer, but it cant handle Bungie.net for some reason.

No, most websites that use aspx code it can'r read right somehow.

It's a problem with Firefox. Live with it, or change to an alternative browser (not necessarily IE).

I really wish that they'd make a universal browser that all websites should comply to. All these different browsers suck. Especially IE.

I really am fed up of everyone jumping on the bandwagon of hating IE.

Good argument against it? I'm yet to hear one.

Ok... How about...

As soon as I open it, I get an error, and it shuts down, but leaves all the pop-up's open, EVEN THOUGH, I have a pop-up blocker.

I think it's just cause i doesn't like me. ='[

Microsoft Internet Explorer has never given me any problems. However I hear alot about this firefox and decided not to change. IE works great for me.

According to Achronos, Firefox has issues with static backgrounds. It's not a cure for the problem, but a good remedy would be the IEView plugin. It allows you to choose to view a page in IE via a button in the right mouse menu.

Seriously though, I'd love to see Apple bring out a PC version of Safari. But I'd prefer it if they spent their time on getting G5s into Powerbooks, and somehow avoiding the annoying "melted aluminium" problem which is assumedly the main reason they're taking so long.

I've used Firefox, and it's pretty cool. And surely there are other Windows browsers with the same sorts of cool features as Firefox which don't have the same ASP problems.

Dougal- Hello Len...
Bishop Brennan- Don't call me Len, you little prick!

Dougal- Did Len find the rabbits?
Ted- Shut up Dougal...
Brennan- What did he say? Did he call me Len again?... YOU WILL ADDRESS ME BY MY PROPER TITLE, YOU LITTLE BOLLOCKS.

Safari is better?

I don't hate IE, but I prefer Safari.

I have yet to find a Webpage unable to be displayed by IE, and I have never had the problems i have heard the other browsers have with IE. In my opinion, IE is that univeral server that works for all.

Well safari uses the khtml engine to render sites so I guess you could download linux and use Konqueror to get an idea of what your site would look like on a mac...not worth the effort though.

I use firefox primarly on my pc right now...only problem is that scrolls bungie.net slow and displays some items weird. I love all the cool plugins for firefox though. Especially this cool media controller one I use.

Question: Why do downloads on firefox not just let you run the file? Now you have to donwload it to your desktop and then run it and delete it. Jeez, do they think i'm made of time?
