i think its awesome. it would be cool if the halo 2 logo was on the controller
Thanks for the feedback people.Hey, that video of the Yellow banchee is from halo part 1 not two.
woot woot! That looks awesome you are a LEGEND!!
YOU HAVE TOO MUCH SPARE TIME
That is the best xbox skin I have ever seen!
Skin, yah, your a funny little kid. And, I have no time... at all. That makes this more special to me. I spent my spare time when I could have been doing something else.
how did u learn how to do that?
Xbox-Scene.com ... Before I went to that website I did not even know how to solder. If you read this thread, I posted links to the tutorial section that show how to do most of it. Then it just takes some patience and practice.
Do you have a link to directions for how you did the LED controller? Including the plug part?I would love to do that, I'm good at soldering and stuff, just need to know what to do.
This one is shows how to add lights in the controller ports.http://www.ejourney.com/~smjames/This one shows how to add lights in the Donglehttp://www.xbox-scene.com/articles/controller-glow2.phpThis one show what point to solder for the lights inside the controller. It shows only a few lights, but you can add more like I did with some creative wiring.http://www.geocities.com/xboxinstigator/walkthrough1.html
i know where to get a costom jewel and a LED but how do you put the LED behind it
Go to the link of the HALO 2 Xbox. At the bottom there is a link to "Pics of the process" If you click that, it will take you to photos showing the center cut out of the Xbox and the LEDS mounted behind it. Then you just wire them up and hook it to the power on the hard drive... In fact, here is a tutorial on how to do it.http://www.xbox-scene.com/articles/jewel-leds.php
Is the normal halo special edition xbox glowy??
That was awesome! i want one!...one question though...what are all the designs in the "x"...i know that one is the halo 2 insignia but what about the other ones?..
The HALO SE Green Xbox does not glow. I had to add the lights to it.18 Lights total. That is an easy job compare to doing an entire Xbox project. The Designs in the rest of the Xbox are just some HALO type deigns. Nothing really specific. The next one I do I will make the other designs into shapes like an Energy sword, and perhaps even a warthog. We will see.[Edited on 6/24/2004 2:19:27 PM]
Dude that is so cool I would only have it for Halo 2, but anyway I want one!

How do u replace Disc Drives like replacing a Thompson with a Samsung Drive
That is easy. Just unplug two wires, remove crap Thompson. Drop in new sammy and plug in two wires. It really is that easy. But, a new sammy drive will run you around $100 to $130. [Edited on 6/24/2004 7:54:33 PM]
Is Bumping a thread Spam? Some forums consider it to be spam, but I believe its just giving new members a chance to see what they missed without going page by page.
