When I saw the commercial, I almost died. A sequal to the Mask? "No way," I thought. "Why would they do that?"
Oh, but I was wrong--it is real. Real and scary. Not "scary" as in horror, but scary as in horrible. Sure, I loved "The Mask" from ten years ago (twas my first exposure to the man called "Jim Kerry"), but this is just sad. "The Mask" by any rate was PG-13 (kind of like Shrek 2), but back then there was only PG and R. Now this...this thing they call a sequal is rated PG?
Sequals have gone too far!
Also, if you wanna talk out sequels going too far, let's have a little chat about Terminator 4 shall we? Now...I liked T3, I thought Jonathan Mostow did a great job, but now they're making Terminator not only without Arnold, but without Nick Stahl as well. Now I'm extremely skeptical about this movie, even though I am a hardcore Terminator fan. I could deal with the loss of Cameron, I mean he's great and all but Mostow was a pretty damn good director in the first place, I'm not saying he replaced Cameron, he just did a good job filling in. But nobody can fill in Arnold's shoes. You can't name it Terminator and not have Arnold in it, that just is flat out W-R-O-N-G
