I was thinking about this, for some reason... Would you rather pump your own gas, or have someone do it for you?

The main reason I ask is because I'm in Oregon, where there are people whose job consists of pumping people's gas. It's kinda nice... But the problem is, I'm 18 and have only pumped my own gas once... I didn't even know how to before that.

While I'm on the subject, Oregon also has much higher minimum wage, and no sales tax.

Wow. Oregon is... different.

What really really made me laugh about this thread is I am from England, and we use the term "petrol" for gas.
Anyway, when I saw the thread and read about having other people pumping your gas then I really laughed, you see, pumping gas over here is another term for farting.

Yes and I'm sure you will wage war on yellow bunnies just because they wouldn't serve you a salad dinner in 2 seconds flat and demanded better pension. From your secret vault underground earth. Full of gold.

Yes, I get werid when I'm sleepy.

Everything will be gone long before me. When the first living thing was born, I was here, waiting. When the last living thing dies, my job is finished. I'll put the chairs on the tables, turn out the lights and lock the universe behind me when I leave.

Yea, my sister went to Oregon State U. She said Oregon is way different. Like, if you pronounce it Or-e-gon, people will get mad at you, you are supposed to say it like Or-gen. And when it's like sprinkling out, you guys put up your umbrellas. Not to be mean or anything.

If explosive material would be added into my car, I'd add it myself. Besides, what else would you do? You're going to smell the gas anyway, so why not stretch out?

Hehe I never really undertood why petrol is called gas. Although, half of the English language doesn't make sense. An apostrophe means you miss out a letter, yet you can turn shall not into shan't (yes I don't even know how to spell it damnit).

It's more like "Or-uh-gen." o_O

Not so much with the umbrellas thing, I feel more used to the rain. Even though I hate it. If it's sprinkling... Meh, I won't even wear a coat.
