This is probably a little too heavy for even some of you 12-year-olds out here to even have heard about, but you left out "Bury Your Dead", "Queen's Ryche", and "Rammstein." Btw, how in the hell does Tim McGraw, The Beatles, Linkin Park, Greenday, and Breaking Benjamin even come close to being Heavy Metal?
Here's the blow by blow:
Linkin Park - I hate to admit it, but as of late, they are officially pop. They sold out, get used to it. I can't believe I once thought of them as any genra of Rock.
Tim McGraw - Country. My mom listens to him a lot, he sure as hell doesn't qualify.
The Beatles - There was no such thing as Heavy Metal back in their day.
Breaking Benjamin - These guys are generic (and I put a lot of emphasis on "generic") Alt. Metal. Not heavy metal, but alt. metal, but I usually like alt. metal better.
Greenday - Alternate Rock, not Heavy Metal. I'm willing to bet they played your -blam!- graduation song, so there's no way they are Heavy Metal.
While on this topic, I hate when I ask people "What kind of music do you like?" and get answers like "Rock." Hell, name a specific Rock artist, or a more specific genra. There is a lot that "Rock" encompasses.
