the underpowered frag grenades
:(

One frag + shot to the head = kill.

You have to admit though, the range is lesser and unless you PEG them it's not a one frag+kill. Plus, the SOUNDS just sound wimpier you know? in Halo 1 if a nade went off you knew it with the thud etc. H2 it's just not the same oomph that I love ; )

H2 sound effects have always reminded me of popcorn, especially the SMG. Explosions and stuff always seem more like a popcorn bag. I don't know, maybe I'm crazy.

Yeah, I own it. And I haven't encountered a single problem. Except for the sniper shots not registering

Here you will need this to help you get your foot out of the back of your throat, looks llike its in there pretty deep. And what is that on your face? Egg?! *hands Kim a washcloth*

To be fair, when it comes to registering Halo pc also sucks in that regard. I have wasted countless bullets only for them to not affect an AFK in both games. Yay for two bad ports.

Got It.

Played it.

Hated it.

Shelved it.

Re-tried it a while later to see if i was just being picky.

Shelved it again.

Then decided i wasted my money on this trash heap and vowed never to install the game again...

H1 and Halo Custom edition name: madkiller92
xfire:madkiller92

The only problem I have ever had with H2V is the low amount of people in it, and speed hackers always being in the XF sniper sever. But luckily, they have been banned from the other severs. Now XF needs to ban them...

And there are 60-100 people on H2V, about 10-15 playing rockets, and 15-30 playing BR+sword.
Then 10-16 on shotguns. Then there are 10-12 playing swords. About 10-20 on FFA games with no heavies except for 1 energy swords for every 5 min. Then somtimes there are some full severs with FFA vehicles (BR, SMG, no heavies), and some with CTF (no heavies, vehicles) and some with just plain juggernaut, slayer, or CTF with the map default weapons. And a lot of the maps, even smaller ones, aren't heavies default, according to the MLG severs.
There is enough of a variation.

Fix the speed. Go to control settings and scroll down. I heard people say that they were mad because the max is 4 or something: IT'S NOT. You just have to put it higher.

Bought it, played it for a week, then sold my soul to Sid Meier.

Yes, and I'm proud.

Hello! Star Wars FTW. Also, join the MAW group. Please?

Bought it, then became obsessed with it. I loved it, and was actually really good at it. I was probably in the top five in terms of skill in that game. Then I got TF2 and was never able to play H2V again. Doesn't hold a candle. I also realized how much bull-blam!- M$ got away with in that lazy-ass port. It doesn't even have a server filter! One of the most basic things to have in a multiplayer pc game, and they forgot about it! Oh, and how you have to pay for USER PROVIDED SERVICES such as client hosted servers and downloading USER MADE maps in game. Seriously, WTF. And Live for windows is inferior to Steam Community and XFire in... every single way.

Yes.

Paid for it?

Yes.

Yes, he truly has an insidious mind. His games are top notch too.

Haha. Yeah, I've spent my fair share of weekends conquering the world. Although I did get up to go the the bathroom.

And if you're sick of Halo you can try this little physics puzzle game called Armadillo Run The object of the game is to get the little armadillo (looks like a basketball) into the little blue portal using structures and devices using materials such as metal bars and sheets, rockets, cloth, rope, rubber, and elastic. The game is ridiculously hard but definitely worth the time it takes to learn. There's even an edit level option that lets you create your own levels to share. The graphics aren't all that fancy but it's a fantastic way to kill an hour.

It sucks compared to Halo Custom Edition. Halo Custom Edition you get to mod anything. Besides, I have Halo 2 for Xbox.
