you know how each trigger controls each fire of the guns, well wouldn't it be cool if each analog stick controlled the placement of each gun

No, but it would be cool if each gun could auto-aim a differnt enemy.

No i don't mean a real auto aim, I mean somehow you could follow a marked enemy with one of the guns.

Granted, it would be rather cool to be able to control both weapons independently of each other, so you could take out two grunts simultaneously, cross your weapons and fire to each side in a would-be cool way (not that I think the MC would be likely to attempt something like that), and so on. As it's been pointed out though, it would present a few problems with aiming and movement.

well the main problem with it is that some aiming movements couldnt fit in one screen without crippling your aiming ability. i.e. when your press up when your aiming your left wep
and down when your aiming your right wep, you couldnt aim any lower or higher than your visible screen at that moment. and besides unless your ambidextrous it would be hard as piss. and one of the reasons HALO was so popular was that the controls are easy to learn

this would get REALY confusing, and over complicated, just think about it, how would you tell the targets apart?
