Fraps records things UNCOMPRESSED to lower the cpu usage, and allow more framerate recordings. After recordin' vids with fraps, you need to compress them. Try stuff like TMPenc, or whatever is your fav movie compressor. If you can, try Final Cut pro, then use the divx encoder plugin for it, it'll reduce the sizes quite massively.
