Not sure if this has been posted before, but one thing that some other tools have (UnrealEdit, Radiant, etc) is the ability to draw out a large box shape, and then fill it with entities.
This could carry over to forge in that you would draw a large box, select what you want to fill it with, and it would be filled with that. So you could make a large platform of floor tiles, for example.
There would have to be obvious forge constraints, like the item limits and whatnot, but it could make making long walls extraordinarily easy.
Also, the forge controls shouldn't be so goddamn difficult to use. If i can draw a cube using a graphing calculator which doesn't have analog input, i should be able to do it with the 360 controller.
