Just remember that no matter how terrible you feel, or how much you want to let go, there are people who care about you and love you.

i have no idea if this has been said, this thread is far too large for me to check :P
but i'd really like to see some more fx filters, mabe somthing like fog that allows you to see well at close range but not at long ranges (basically a useful version of nova). a glare effect would be cool, like the opposite of gloomy, makes everything brighter or more shine off objects, these would go really well with the already suggested idea of controlling how much space an effect affects :P i could see it as a KoTH type barrier except for fx filter ranges then you can use more than one without making your map extreamely dark :P

You know, if Bungie ever considered this, paying 800ms points would not cover it.
I think this idea is awesome!! But dude, did you ever think about the effort they need to put in to make this!
Its still awesome....but might not be out with ODST......
--------------------------------------OR------------------------------------------
Bungie might already be working on it!!! =)

Denver (My name)

Im going to say yes but honestly the trailer didnt really get me up out of my seat, you know. I might buy it but I highly doubt it. Im sticking to Halo 3 and I have a feeling the reason they are making Recon available by the achievements is so people will buy the new halo. haha. Just my opinion, but yeah those sound pretty good.

wow me and my forge junky friend would love this, we could make the coolest maps ever!
Whoever wouldn't pay 800 points lol?

When you have honest researched opinions, you get banned from Bnet alot...

TRUFAX

If any of these features were in ODST, I'd be even more sure of my purchase than I am now.

A proposition of a Forge update. While the idea of a 90 Degree Angle Snapping Function is intriguing this function would be as unsatisfactory as the current Forge for if a user wishes to place their wall at approximately an 87.8 degree angle it would Snap to a 90 degree angle, this would certainly aggravate the user. To create a Forge in which the user is satisfied two systems are required to be made 1. Custom Angle Editing Default Forge, and 2. Geometric Angle Editing. When entering Forge the user is asked to choose between 1. Custom Angle Editing Default Forge, and 2. Geometric Angle Editing, but the user may change this setting any time while within Forge by simply opening the start menu and entering a new feature labeled as System. Once inside the new feature System the user may select between 1. Custom Angle Editing Default Forge, and 2. Geometric Angle Editing, and if a different setting is chosen the Forge starts a new round. Using Custom Angle Editing Default Forge is exactly the same as the current Forge, and the user edits object normally. While operating within Geometric Angle Editing when the user Spawns Creates an object it stays absolutely still and cant move upon its axes, only when the user opens the objects properties can they change its orientation upon its axes. Within the objects properties panel the three axes are listed with edit fields to the right and the default number as 000, but each 0 can be selected and by pushing up upon the control sticks each 0 can become any number between 09. So after modifying all three 0s to the desired number the resulting number can be 009, 045, 270, etcetera. After the user is done modifying all of the necessary 0s, and exits the properties panel the object rotates clockwise on all axes according to the degrees the user entered. The preceding can be done upon the X, Y, and Z axis to obtain the correct object orientation. An example of the properties pane has been made below

X Axis 000 Becomes X Axis 000
Y Axis 000 Becomes Y Axis 045
Z Axis 000 Becomes Z Axis 045

The Snow Leopard's wisdom includes: Understanding one's shadow-side; trusting one's inner-self; agility; strength; the ability to stalk; understanding the power of silence.

Hell yes I would!! This is all I need (and an ac) to fully enjoy my summer!

NO.... I don't do forge and never will so noooo. Only 10 -15 % of the community really uses the forge option to its full extent.
thats because current forge isn't really that great.

Yes to just about everything
1.who needs ladders if you can jump so high?
2.AI is the opposite of multiplayer
3.bodies wouldn't be so great either.

all of the other ideas sound amazing. although bungie probably won't even consider half of this, i hope that our opinions are heard and maybe even expressed in future games or expansion packs.

It would seem better cause i posted a forum silimar to this but, my idea was to create your own maps in all, i mean from scratch, and then add bases, mountains, cliffs, hills, and so on, people told me that my ideas where great but it wouldnt happen cause Halo 3 was TOO updated, and i still think it would be possible, you just have to give people time

i voted yes cause its basically like a whole new games worth. the problem is they couldnt do alot of that like the skins and what not but who knows.

the bad thing is they might charge way more then 800 MS points for all that.

Crap.

I'd pay 10,000 MS points for this no joke.

  • 06.03.2009 1:05 PM PDT

A total yes it be great i could make some kind of map like a war field with the dead marines, and brute n elites. And the vehicle skins would be a great idea too. I rlly rlly need that undo option. But in my mind id use the AI's for like prisoners like trap em in a box and watch them roar and scream at you while u can throw a grenade in theif cage and torture them. I'd pay 1600ms for this.

  • 06.03.2009 1:09 PM PDT
