"The second mouse gets the cheese..."

I voted "yes". However I would mostly be interested in the items on the list that make forge easier to use: the 90 degree snap feature, copy/paste/drag objects, undo, delete all, position lock, etc. Great ideas. Turrets that cannot be detached from their base is also a super-sweet idea. I would add a "snap to object" feature to the list, as well as the ability to "grab" an object without moving or disturbing it.

The Forge is an awsome addition to the game. Hats off to Bungie for making it possible for us to "borrow their talent" and be creative.

Custom skins, spray paint, power-ups, AI characters, etc are not interesting to me. Bungie did a great job making everything look great. We should say thanks, and we should leave it alone.

If we want to make maps that are totally custom, we should learn to write code--like Bungie did. I think we take for granted the amount of work they have done to make the Halo series fun and look great for us fans. Lets not be brats now!

That would be really awesome to get tools like those in Forge. I would happily pay 800 MS points to get an update like that, hell I'd willingly pay more than 800.

Weather filter!
Riders on the Storm!
Rainy atmosphere in Sandbox with changing the daytime from twilight to late midnight.
That'll be awesome. And if they fixed the Double Walls and stuff it'd be awesome. :>

  • 07.05.2009 3:43 AM PDT

YES! I would pay a lot more than 800 for this! If only this was possible...

  • 07.05.2009 3:50 AM PDT

Look, a half monkey half pony monster!

This is amazing, you are a litteral genius! I would honestly pay 2400 microsoft points for this idea! Never has there been a better idea!

Hopefully they will use it, I think it would make halo 3 and halo 3: ODST much better, it's the best suggestion from a community member I've seen so far!

lecturer at the paranormal convention: all those who belive in telikenisis raise my hand.

Somethign i've alays wantedto do with forge is place bodies, blood, bulletholes, etc... because it will just bring a whole new level of realism to maps, only trouble i can see with this is that some of these features could be used... inapropriately, like a spray paint tool: Some bugger would come allong and ruin our fun by just drawing giant obcinities!
Although, There are loards and loads of members/forums/groups petitoning for 90 degree snap and other features to improve forge, so I wouldn't be surprised if there was some kind of forge update at some point...
and YES, Hell i'd pay more than 800pts for all that!

I think that if people are going to draw up crude images then they should probably seek help, and yes I do understand and agree with you, it would make battle scenes on maps much more dramatic, and the gameplay would be great!

Also I am not letting this post die down so I'm going to come back every so often and bump it up my quoting someone and replying to them!

Why should we have to pay for this? Bungie should just update it for everyone. Especially how they get peoples money for their retarted maps like Ghost Town, Rats Nest, and Orbital.

1. A and B are for Foundry and thats already made, so I say leave it.
2. Glue would be like locking items, but only while you place other items like a stack of barrels, then the glue would not be there in the actual gameplay. OR maybe make an option to make items not movable once they were placed while in forge mode, then normal in gameplay.
3. Weren't we supposed to get 1 way windows???????

We do have 1 way windows, if you didn't notice the orange windows on snowbound, when you look at them from inside you can see out, but from outside you can't see in!

would've, but the bodies and AI threw it off for me. Wouldn't play on maps with 200 grunts running around

There would be a set amount, to stop people overloading bungie's servers!

  • 07.05.2009 4:41 AM PDT

I would pay 5,000 doubled for that bloody update! I mean CORPSES, WRECKED PELICANS AND PHANTOMS, THE TERRAIN EDITOR ALONE IS WORTH 2000 MS points!!!!!!! (AI would be very unlikely, nearly impossible!) but stil HELL YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!! I've dreamed of this since the first day I played forge!
