If only the delete all "objects" extra vehicles, 90degree snap and mounted missle pod, i would pay 800.

Why would I ever pay them to improve their horrendously designed map editor? They had the choice to include or not include a map editor, and instead they chose neither, but shipped a sloppy, half-baked, not-well-thought-out editor which is difficult to use at best. If it is there and fully functional I will use it. If it's not there, I'll be fine without it. And since it is, in its current state, not fully functional, it pretty much counts as not being there at all. So no, I would not pay 800 ms points (like 1/6 or 1/5 the cost of the game), since I really don't miss what I don't have.

hmm seems like this dude thought this out for awhile.
anyway, bungie does whatever they feel fit...right?

  • 07.17.2009 10:40 PM PDT

Snipe+BR=win ^-^

yeah, that seems like its worth 800 mp.

  • 07.17.2009 11:35 PM PDT

It's cherry, tastes like strawberry, looks like watermelon, and you think it's raspberry just because.

I agree with some of these ideas, but many of them I can't help but argue with. Things like changing the time of day and the weather conditions, size editing tool, terrain editor, Snowmen LOL (jk), ammunition crates, and adjustable man-cannons. I sort of think that Bungie wouldn't work as hard on maps if there was a terrain/weather/time-of-day editor. Also, you could just make your own artificial terrain (just no pits, except maybe bottomless ones. I didn't have a problem with that) with the no collide for geomerging. But I would pay 800 MP to buy the updates that I don't have a problem with.

KAOS DEAMON:
A slight ‘’incident’’ has occurred in the forum. Me and Random have both been banned by myself. Which is annoying? Hopefully this is fixable? PLZ? Random is becoming angry.

As i said earlier, this idea is so epic.

I know that the new tools and things are unlikely and probably impossible, but, instead of editing code with a patch, why not just add on with it, like a map pack? i mean, like an item pack? add like new lighting effects, or ambience effects (fog, time-of-day, weather in general. or ambient sounds (fire, explosions, e.t.c.) or scene items, like escalators, or various wreckages, or dead bodies (as mentioned)

You have a brain. Use it, please.

Are you kidding? That would be awesome, if they would do it. But it would be way more than 800 MP. And sadly, that may cause a problem for people who don't have the content forging with people who do. But still, hell yes!

  • 07.18.2009 3:18 PM PDT

You get snip3d you got owned, you snip3 them, they get pwned.

Would be awesome. I would get it.

I would play a lot more than that! And think of the machinima's that could be made with that!

A well-built sniper rifle is a beautiful thing. Mine has two separate levels of zoom: 'Up-close-and-personal' and 'Hello-you're-dead'.

Of course dude!
Who wouldn't pay for it?

I hope bungie actually does something like this.

  • 07.18.2009 6:14 PM PDT

I tell you, we're here on Earth to fart around, and don't let anybody tell you different.

dunno if this has actually been mentioned, but having something on computer where you completely make entire maps using a program kind-of like Google Sketch-Up. THAT would be AMAZING. i would pay like... 10000000 microsoft points for THAT.

  • 07.19.2009 7:31 AM PDT

some of these points just cannot be included due to restraints on greaphics etc. Halo does run at 30 fps and weather filters, etc would have a huge effect on 16 players.

Yes bungie please do this

  • 07.19.2009 8:37 AM PDT

Big Team Battle Multiflag/Slayer on Standoff/Valhalla/Sandtrap/Avalanche = Win

thats 1400 points worth right there, and I'd still buy it.

  • 07.19.2009 1:26 PM PDT

I reckon that it should be on it's own disk and not as an add-on. it could be its own sub-title;
"Halo 3:Forge pro" for example, so it would run on its own disc but would save the maps to halo 3 community files on bungie.net . and if you want to you could still forge in the classic style on the halo 3 disc

The AI is not a good idea but i would add an x,y,z axis lock on objects so you can lock each of the pieces axis individually (so you take a block into the sky lock the x axis and it would stay at that height and you can still move it in the other two dimensions)

  • 07.19.2009 5:23 PM PDT

Definitely, that sounds amazing. I love using forge, and these additions would make it so much better.

  • 07.19.2009 5:31 PM PDT

Nick Quinto

I wish bungie would just make this already
